Some black guy calling from an unknown number left me a message with a case number and his return phone number as being 904-964-7219 he identified himself as Paul Miriam or something and he was a process server out of my area. Apparently, he is serving me between 12 and 5 on Friday and also has my current place of business. He said if I or my attorney wanted to call and give a statement before Friday to please call 904-964-7219 and be ready with two forms of ID on Friday. When I called back the number some dude answered "This is Aaron." I have access to getting information on numbers and such at work and this phone number goes to an Active Landline registered to 'Ironwood'. I don't know what that is? I can't find any information about a Clinton's Office, Ironwood, or Paul in the city of Starke, FL or the entire state of Florida. Further there are no pending lawsuits against me per my county's records.

Process Servers DO NOT give you a heads up in regards to being served.
Process Servers also DO NOT take statements from your lawyer or you about being served -- their sole job is to give you papers and that is it.
You DO NOT need to identify yourself to be served with any form of ID. I know this because a few years back, process servers served papers to my Dad in regards to a federal court case.

Everything about this screams scam to me and I'm willing to bet you're one of the ignorant [***] running the scam.

I've reported this to my local police station and I have downloaded Trap A Call to my phone so I can better track the source if they should call again. I've also notified the Attorney General about this extortion scam. I'm also in a "one-party" state which means I am the only one that needs to be aware that I'm recording our conversations.

You and 'Mike jones' sound identical.

Why are you responding to French Trickler with her name being Kali, she never mentioned her name? Further you've responded using the same name.

Something about this is really [***] and fishy.

Paul callled again about not receiving a stop judgement because I failed to call them back yesterday.

I called my county court house and she received a call yesterday about a similar situation. She advised to contact the sherif and to file a report with the police department. Basically process servers do NOT ask for ID EVER. A relative of mine also is a lawyer in the state of Florida which he concedes this is an extortion scam. I will be filling with the Consumer Protection Bureau, Attorney General, and my city.

Unlike yesterday; however, Paul was now with International Couriers instead of Clintons Office... He was going to show up between 8 and 7 and advised my animals and weapons be put up. He would be visiting my place of residence, business, or school.

    LMAO bring it [***].

I too have been called and called.  I even called them back lol.  When I asked them what payday loan it was concerning they told me Ameriloan.  I was told Ameriloan was the big "mother company" of payday loans and could not give me a specific name of which company it was. They also told me it was showing up on my credit report.  I had pulled up my credit report and there was nothing there.  They then told me it was a 2010 credit report and probably wasnt showing up on the one I pulled up.   I contacted Ameriloan and a supervisor was to call me back and never did.  They also threatened me with I will receive a 1099 and my Income Tax return would be attached.  I thought a 1099 was for misc income?   I called the Sheriff's dept in Florida I also called our Sheriff's department.   I also received a call from 903-218-0173 caller ID said Ironwood they left a message to call the original number back or my summons will be coming today 10/10/14.

Oddly I can't find anything registered to that address at all. I see a 509 Market Street which appears (from Google maps) to be an apartment complex or town home residences.

They are in violation of the FDCPA on many levels. In each instance they give different names to the office they belong to at one point they state Clinton's office, Internation Couriers, and then you're now saying Anderson & Assoc. none of these are businesses in the state of Florida nor in the US that I can find. The phone numbers they give out for people to call are registered under Ironwood through Centurylink phone service.

You can report them to the CPB and AG of your state and of Florida.

A 1099-C is used to report debt forgiveness to the IRS and the debtor who has had the debt forgiven. It can only be issued by the original creditor as they are the only ones who can take a tax write off on the loss.  Debt buyers and third party collectors cannot issue a legal 1099-C.

As I read the instructions, it has to be a Federally regulated entity such as a bank or a credit union.

Here is the link to the instructions, pages 3 to 5 seem to be the important ones:  http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/i1099ac.pdf

On Page 3 under Who Must File para 6, it includes businesses whose primary function is to make loans. There is no mention of these entities being Federally regulated so one reading of this paragraph would be to allow payday loan companies to file a 1099-C for forgiveness of over $600 in debt.  However, none of the definitions under Who Must File seem to apply to any buyer of indebtedness nor third party collection agency since they do not meet any of the applicable definitions for filing a 1099-C

Paul Miriam, Mark Lewis, or Rachel Wilgas (Anderson & Associates) continue to call stating I will be served with papers regarding an unpaid Payday Loan from United Cash Loans. States a courier will deliver paperwork to my home and or place of employment. Also, states you will need to provide 2 forms of identification for paperwork..(NOT HAPPENING) Funny thing is the dates they give I never had an active account at the bank they state money went into. I have also called United Cash Loans who state this is a SCAM and these people are using their name. United Cash Loans has filed numerous complaints with Federal Trade Commission. According to local police/sheriff's office the advised never give these people identification nor verify and personal information.
    PLEASE BEWARE OF THESE IDIOTS....

    Upset and Outraged
I have spent all day worrying and trying to figure this out!  My mother, who lives in a different state sent an URGENT email to me, saying I had to call this "904-964-7219" number, or they were serving me with a warrant - TODAY.  I have had money issues in the past, and had to take out pay day loans, so I was afraid that maybe I had messed up, and really did owe this money.  I am an Elementary Art Teacher, and I DO NOT want someone coming to my school to serve papers!  So, I called.  They were SUPER pushy, NOT NICE, in fact, VERY NASTY!!!  They pressured me to give them the information, so they could process a payment, IMMEDIATELY!  They would not, or could not wait until the end of the day, at 3:00, even though I had kids coming into my room for art, as we spoke on the phone.  Needless to say, this was VERY UPSETTING!  I gave them my debit card information, like a big IDIOT!!!!  After it was over, my friend said I should "google" the phone number, and that's when ALL THIS CRAZY information came up.  I called Cash Net USA, and they said that I DID have an unpaid balance, but they had turned it over to collections, but NOT Anderson Attorney at Law!!!  So, I called my bank, and they are cancelling my debit card.  I'm still a little worried that I will actually be served papers, and if I have to go to court, I would think that a judge will hear my side of this CRAZY story!!!!  I am exhausted from worrying about this!!!!

These people have been calling me for a long time.  They stop for awhile then they start again.  They claim to be some company called ACBS, or that is all I can make out from the messages that they leave.  I do wish there was something someone could do about these people.  They are harrassing and they are fraudsters.
