recording said "You've won $3000 of Fido Travel Dollars press "1" to accept."

Just got a call from this umber on my cell but I did not pick it up.  When I called back it said that it was not in service.

recording said as a valued Walmart customer "You've won $3000 Travel Dollars press "1" to accept. So I did press "1" to speak to a real human being, as soon as he came on the phone he was asking for credit card number. When asked where are they calling from, he said Cancun Mexico. When he didn't get the credit card number he refused to talk to me and hung up.

Just got a call saying "as a valued Shaw customer, you've won $3000 travel dollars press 1 to accept."   I did press "1" to speak to a real human being, when she came on the phone she asked my age.  I then asked who it was that i was speaking to.... she was quick to say that the connection was poor and she had to go.

dont accept calls from this number its a scammmmmmmmm

it's good that my nokia has a black list software.. this one was block totally! SPAM!

My cell number is registered with the Canadian Do-Not-Call list.  When I got the guy on the line I immediately asked for a supervisor.  He said they were all gone and hung up on me.

When I tried to call the number back, the call could not be completed ("temporarily busy").

They called me today and said "since I am a valued Shaw customer I have received $3000 travel dollars. Press 1". Never respond to those things. DO NOT PRESS 1!

rec unwanted calls

I had these people call me. This is the 3rd time they have called. I have not answered as I don't know the number. They have called at 10 pm and now this morning. When I called the number back it said that it was not in service.

I had a call from 905 2158898 on my cell phone saying As I was a valued Bell customeer press 1 to receive free minutes. I hung up. I tried calling back from my land line but got lines are busy message.

Just got a call from this number 905-215-8898...as i didn't recognize the phone number i didn't answer it...thank heavens i didn't, i get so annoyed with these phone callers...

Got a call from 905-215-8898 I missed the call and when I tried to call back it said this number was not iin service ..... I figured it was a scam

Received this request to call back from tel # 905 215 8898 on July 20, 2010 at 6:10 pm, I do not recognize this tel. # and did not call back.
Is this another one of these scam calls where you telephone back and are charged an exhorbitant fee for it.
Are these operated by the Cellphone companies to generate more revenue, if so, the CRTC needs to look into this matter and take appropriate action, as in charging these people.
