- megan| 17 repliesThis is the constant scam that says you filled out a ballot during Christmas shopping last year and you have won. We told the person not to phone again and I am looking into who to call to report this. We make a point of not filling out anything when shopping. How stupid do these people think we are?
- AlexI got called twice from these guys. Some guy with a super thick East Indian accent was trying to tell me something. All I could understand is that he is not trying to sell me anything. I told him that it's a tad too early to be making phone calls like this (8:30 AM) and hung up. I tried calling the number but I got a message saying that it's disconnected. Later (thorugh another website) I found out that it's the Premium Buyer's Club. Megan, I'm with you on trying to report these guys. Lemme know how you make out and I'll do the same. I'm supposed to be on the Do Not Call list for chrissake!!!

- Alex| 3 repliesThey called again. This time I had some fun with them. They wanted me to come down and choose a number from 1 to 5 and that prize would be mine. I kept insisting that they make the choice for me and then ship the item to my place (I knew exactly what the whole game was all about). So then I said 'fine, give me the address and directions...'. I pretended that I was writing it down and so on... then buddy said that he was going to transfer me to his manager for confirmation, I said fine and hung up the phone. LOL. They kept calling back but it was too late as I already put their number on the list of blocked phone numbers (a nice feature that comes with Primus Talk Broadband).

- yentroc| 2 repliesJust got called from 416 555-5555 the guy on the phone gave me this call back number 905-695-9040. Said it was Primium Buyers Club and that I filled something out somewhere in Mississauga. Being quite sure I had not, I asked several times where they got my number. The man was getting annoyed but assured me that I had won either a TV, trips or 1500 cash. Then he started asking me my age. Too suspicious I hung up. What are these guys about? HOW DID THEY GET MY NUMBER?

- jim bo replies to yentroc| 1 replyits just a scam--they get you to come in. You get 2 Hr of them telling you how much you will save by using there BS club. (they have nothing to sell that is why it's a club) If you don't buy there membership you "win" a free stay at a hotel but you have to get there yourself. (i don't know anyone the used the hotel)The membership is $10000.00 but they will let you have it for 7000.00 ----the fact is they have nothing to offer when you go to use your membership you will find no help from them and the "deals"you get can be beat with a quick look online. they have opened and closed under lots of names over the years. (look up club excellence)The thing that makes this even worse is they have you get a loan with a different company to "fiance" the membership. So after they have the $$$ and run you still have to pay back the loan as the finance company is not part of the scam but a legit company,
don't got to there scamanar there is no prize. - Us Too!| 1 replyWe got a call, very persistent East Indian Man. Told us we'd won $1500 cash or a brand new top of the line HD TV... I kept asking where'd you get my #? He kept getting annoyed, so I kept asking! LOL He must have thought I was going (idiot) so he gave me the address 1050 Drew Road Unit # 6 Mississauga ON... Premier International is what they were called this time. He's called back 3 times more. I am not that curious, thank you very much. Don;t need your "furniture"...

- I did not fill out your ballotI get this call at least once a month. On occasion even twice a month. I have asked them to remove my name from their list and they continue to call with the same info. I filled out a ballot and it was some time ago so perhaps I do not remember. I never fill out ballots anywhere. If anyone has any info on how I could get rid of these callers for good please let me know.

- Had enough of telemarketers| 1 replyWell, they are still at it in 2010. I received this phone call at 8:30am this morning from 905-241-1056. Who does telemarketing at 8:30am? The # they call from cuts in and out and when I tried to call it back it tells me the # is not in service. My guess is they are calling from outside of Canada. They are calling on behalf of Premium Buyers Club in Mississauga. I could barely understand the man on the phone and told him this much which prompted him to continue to repeat himself over and over again. I didn't want to hang up in case I really had won something, although I can't imagine how because I've not filled out any "coupons" as he said I had. Plus, I have never been lucky! I was silly enough to book myself and my husband into a prize winning session and then jumped online and found lots of posts like this one of those who have had the same experience. SO... I called Sean Ricardo and cancelled the session. I have better things to do with my time and wish I hadn't been so gullable to begin with but hey, at 8:30 am winning a prize feels a bit like a dream!

- Toronto hates Telemarketers| 1 replyAs with the previous post, I was contacted this evening,(luckily after the Canada / USA Hockey game) & was given the same pitch for a new American based company (PREMIUM INTERNATIONAL- ) 905-241-1029). Since I was in a good mood (Canada won gold) I entertained the hard-to-understand East-Indian chap & listened to the spiel, of which I already knew was either a time-share or some money grabbing gimmick! After 20mins & then recv'g the verification followup call from 416 548-5983 ext 243. I did my due diligence & researched on Google (where would be without Google?). I came up with Premium International website under construction, but then I googled searched Premium Int scams & found Premium Buyers Club & they are one of the same!!

- LEE replies to megan| 13 repliesI just love the way you people talk about [***] you have no idea about. If this Premium Buyer's Club is a scam then why are they connected to legitimate organizations? They are offering you discounts on furniture, electronics, travel and more. There is no gimmick, no trick, and no surprise. You do get a prize and if you are not smart enough to ask questions on the initial call then you are the stupid one. They are a legitimate company making money from people who want to have a better life by saving money. Why don't you people do the research before being judge, jury, and executioner?
- Peter Clemenza replies to megan| 1 replywhy do you people make opinions without research, THIS CO IS A LEGITIMATE co. and EVERY 1 WHO GOES THERE RECEIVES THE PRIZE. stop LYING DO SM RESEARCH ..............
- Kyle replies to Toronto hates TelemarketersOntario International or Premium Buyers Club... regardless of what they are... Stay far, far away. There is no credibility with this company. They are trying to get your money in one way or another. Their prizes really aren't prizes... be very careful. You are not 1 out of 16 people who have won. You also do not have an equal chance of winning one of the 5 prizes that they state. They may give you a free alaskan cruise or 3 day getaway... but you'll end up spending more with the Odenza booking company that you have to book with. Stay away from it all. These people will be approached from legitimate TV shows and people who can confront them properly. Just STAY away...
- SarahOh the Premium Buyers Club...I can always expect a call from you!
Yes, they have been calling me since October 2009 to come to their 'headquarters" at 1510 Drew Road (Mississauga) to claim one of the *5* fabulous prizes just waiting for me to pick up! Wow, I somehow even entered into a draw at a "retail location" "months ago" and that all I have to do is leave my wallet at home and come on down to pick up my prizes! WOW!
So, I did lots of research (because obviously they have scammed more than just 1 person) and as luck would have it: THEY'VE BEEN DOING IT TO 1,000'S OF PEOPLE! Please, don't go there. They just want to sell you a timeshare and their HIGH PRESSURE HARD SELL is hard for some people to resist. It's not worth it. I've heard stories of the people that work there being very threatening if you don't purchase one of their 'packages.'
I have already collected at least 5 of their phone numbers and contacted Crime Stoppers and the BBB. Hopefully we can all put a stop to these people once and for all.
PS: Alex and William (the same person) was the guy who keeps calling me.
PPS: Everyone typing in caps works for their company. Sure, it might be a legitimate company, but instead of trying to lure people into your timeshares using telemarketing scams, why don't you just do legitimate advertising?- Caller: Premium Buyers Club
