I received a call from this"collection agency". When I asked for them to provide me with proof of the debt, the caller became evry rude and said that "everything was on-line" and that there were no records. When I indicated that I wasn't paying anything just on a stranger's say-so, he called me a "deadbeat".  I called the company that my debt was supposedly with, they indicated that I had no debt with them and that they have had numerous complaints about fraudulent collectors.

I received a call from the same collection agency. I received the same treatment when I indicated that this debt from Premier Fitness was fraudulent.  I have a lawyer looking into it now. By the way, I also contacted NCR and spoke to a Manager. He said he had tried to call my lawyer but my lawyer was not in....I have found several complaints much like mine. Something doesn't seem right here!

They call and threaten legal action, pretending to be 'legal agents'. If you ask questions about the debt, start calling you names and saying they will send  a bailiff to your house. Thoroughly unprofessional and running a shady establishment.  Called me in regards to a premier fitness debt and told me to call a head office, which has no contact number.

been getting calls on my cell phone for someone that isn't even me...identified themselves as Ontario government.  can not believe the number of times they keep calling.

I am house sitting and got this guy demanding to talk to the owner who, by the way, is working in the North. I told him the man was away and he got mad at me, shouting at me, telling me I was the person and that I'd hear from him, at which point he hung up. I assume he's trying to collect something but he's doing it in a most unprofessional way. How do I block this creep?

Very rude and demanding person calling my phone!!!  I have no idea who is this person.

My sister received a phone call from this company who didn't offer to say who they were and they were asking for me.  Yes we have the same last names but as I said these people did NOT identify themselves.  They were very evasive asking careful questions.  Is this really a legit business??

If you call the number back it is an actual collection agency but they refuse to answer questions. A man called and said a debt was owed to HBC Co but I know it wasn't and they refused to send me any proof of debt what so ever. Complain to all your local BBB and such about this number! report them to the fraud stopper agencies!

Honestly the amount of times these people phone is just ridiculous. I answered and they told me i owed Wonga money( its a fraudulent loan company from the UK) when i told them it wasn't me because a lot of the information about me was wrong i.e. email address and when i told them that they should know about Wonga because its been on the news lately, they just told me to file a police report and give them the case number. I went to the local police station and they told me i don't need to file a report and too just block the number, but i still get harassing voice mails about this money that i do NOT owe. when will this stop!!

they call multiple times a day, threaten legal action on unpaid debts past the statute of limitations, then tell you there is no such statute, pretend to be lawayers, rude, yell at you, refuse to stop calling, refuse to send out a letter, Thankfully our Primus Telephone allows us to block every new number they call from

thats illegal contact them and consumer protection bureau, this is NCR collections calling you

if your phone service provides call block you can do that, but be warned they call from many #'s, thankfully we use Primus phone with unlimited call blocking including all the 800 series of numbers

Here's a word of advice, never admit to a debt from these clowns. If it's been 2 years since the date of last activity, they can't sue you in a court in Ontario. There's a Statute of Limitations in Ontario, and for that matter the rest of Canada. Each Province is different. I had these jokers call me this morning saying that a court case has been started against you in Mississauga. Well first off they have to sue you in small claims court in the area you live, and I don't live in Mississauga. So don't let them fool you, don't let them scare you, and don't admit to the debt, and don't pay a cent towards the debt as the clock would reset and they can then go after you in small claims court. These jokers have purchased the debt of pennies on the dollar, and they as a collections agency can't sue you.

These idiots have been harassing me for months regarding an alleged debt. They say they are NCR. Calls became more frequent over time until they were ever other day. At least 9 other phone numbers are connected to this one. Get a phone with call display if you don't have it and don't pick up any calls unless you know who it is. This is a criminal operation. After the first call I faxed a do-not-call order, which would have stopped them if they were legitimate. Change your number and block every number they call from.

this company is disgraceful they call from old mailing lists and don't give up i NEVER had a credit card from zellers and they are claiming to be owed over 4 thousand dollars!!i keep telling them to take me to court but they just keep calling

This unknown number sent me messages in Arabic from viber . When I asked who are you this person laughed in response and said I am your destiny . I plan to give this number to investigations to find out why they are calling me directly on my number .

I have the same problem. The caller is always rude. He "patiently" called in a rude pushy, harrassing attitude over telephone. The way he talks , mentioned about the"debt" is silly and one can tell unprofessional and in fact, rude. When being asked what issues he said he wouldn't tell until he has information about my  birthday. This person cannot cheat anyone the way he presented, expresses.
