received a call from this number. didn't answer this as i receive numerous long distance calls like this one.... i am im newfoundland, and i received the call 3:37 newfoundland time, march 11th, 2010.

That phone nr is Global Collection Agency

I received several calls for somebody else from this number.  
When I called back, I found out that it was a collection agency called Global Credit & Collection.  
I found there website ( http://www.globalcollection.net/Consumers.aspx ) and contacted their main number.
They told me that they would remove my phone number from their files, and they did.

I keep receiving calls from this #, finally answered it.  They were looking for my ex-husband, who has not lived here in over 10 years.  What is interesting is that I already talked to someone from this company and explained that he does not live here and that I WOULD NOT give them his information.  That time caller ID said "private name, private number"  (that is why I answered it in the first place.)  The first guy was VERY rude, and I'm not the one he wanted to talk to anyway!!   At first he wouldn't tell me who he was or what company or anything....  The lady that called today never said a name either, which is what brought me to this page....  thanks for the info!!!!

Were you able to actually talk to someone there??  I called & just got a "leave a message" recording...  unless I pressed "0", then I got disconnected altogether.  So I emailed them instead, no reply as of  yet.

This number called our house 4 times today, 1st looking for a Robert, next time a Rob then called asking for another name starting with R.....then called back trying to guess what year you are born in??? Tell the rude man that we never had a Canadian Tire Card, then he calls back again trying another name and birth date!! This is total harassment going to notify the OPP about this tomorrow!!

Global debt collections of Markham, Ontario

I keep getting calls from this number which boils down to harrassment.  They ask to speak to a Selim and i have had this number for a 10 years or more.  I keep telling them that they have the wrong number and they keep telling me that they will remove my  number.  Again today I got a call and I called them back to make sure that my number is removed.  They were extremely rude and suggested that I am dreaming and if I don't know Selim just to ignore their calls.    This is a collection agency and the individual would not give me his name.  I am now contacting the police.

This bulshit company call me twice my home and asked my Date of Birth. I was
so mad, and the lady was not quit nice.

And Then I call this number from my office, and inquir about the call. She ask my
home phone number, and I gave it ,an again after 5 minuts time she as my home
phone number again. I got some kind of suspision with this people.
They are seeking some kind of personal information to make some frods.

Have told them on numerous occasions the person they want is no longer at my number, yet they incessantly call.

Got a call from them today, my wife's cdn tire card is all paid up, when I asked him a question he said "cannot deny or confirm" so any question he asks just say "cannot deny or confirm" then where does he go from there. Hung up on him
