Collections Sounds Mean If your in statue Don't give them a dine or your Time

I am a senior and I owed a debt with my husband 9 years ago b4 he died and these people have been trying to collect from me since then...phone call after phone call 9 years every day sometimes 5 times a day...I guess they think I may win the lottery.

They are trying to collect a 32yr. old Canadian tire debt that was payed off 30yrs ago from my first marriage . They are bottom feeding maggots looking to scam people.

These people, FROM CONTACT RESOURCE SERVICES, are calling me zillion of times. Can I start a legal case against them since, I am not the person they are looking for and I am telling them every time they call me to SIMPLY, erase my name as I have no connection with the other person they are looking for ...I understand being rude is their job, it is also my JOB to make sure they leave me alone..!! I told them one more call and I will start a legal case against them...because is true, people need to pay their bills, but do NOT GO TO WRONG  PERSON!!!!!!!!!!! BECAUSE I KNOW I HAVE RIGHTS TOO
Can I start a legal case against them?? just for the phone and show them how rude feels

i just laugh at them when they call since the debt they are trying to collect is over 15 years old and 8 years since i settled it. now they just call me and hang up on me i answer every time but i guess they feel harassing me is a good tool, i think its funny and log the details of every interaction and ask for employee name and identification number everytime. probably why they wont even speak to me anymore lol. look up ontario limitations act 2002 if u have concerns. typically you are suppose to notify them in writing thru registered mail when they are wrongly trying to collect. ontario government website has very useful information as well.

They have been trying to do the same from me. Said that I owed a Canadian tire mastercard.  Canadian Tire didn't even have Mastercard back then and I never had a card.

Yell in their ear everytime.  They stop calling

I like to swear at debt collectors. Especially when no debt owed. Got my first call from these scumbags today. Don't owe. She got real snotty so out comes the swearing.  She didn't like it when I told her I don't owe, that I am disabled and live on very fixed income. She said she doesn't care and wants full payment right now. I started swearing like I was back in the forces and on front lines again. It is a good way to vent when I'm feeling frustrated. I laughed so hard after. So keep calls coming.

This is one of many numbers these people call me from. Most are 800 numbers, this is among the few that actually appears to be coming from a legitimate number. They claim I have a Canadian Tire Mastercard debt but I know I don't have a debt. Now I just hang up or don't answer.

They threaten (promise!) to keep calling if you don't pay? Whatever their intention... That is EXTORTION.  Report them and send them to hell.

Statute of Limitations is only 2 years.  Tell them to take a long [***] and slide in it.

Didn't say anything and listen background sound. Strange Call. which is everyday make me up. Finally I blocked it.

They keep calling my business number for past 4 years about some person's debt at Canadian Tire from 30 years ago!!! Unbelievable. Luckily, my call blocker takes care of it, except, that they pollute my missed calls log.
