Calls from this number on Oct 30, 29 and 28.  All hangups.  Determined the caller is a long-distance telephone service provider sales group with area code from  south of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.  (If you can believe everything you hear)

I have been receiving these calls a lot, and finally I picked up the phone a said "911 emergency" , and I got to speak with them.
I didn't work out the way I had planned, but still made progress.

Go to your service provider's website and search for "selective call blocking". Most of the providers have this option for free.

I got 21 calls from this number today and i didn't answer but kept calling still...

1905 766-4863 telemarketer trying to sell long distance rates.

I've placed 4 requests for my number to be removed from their database in the last 2 weeks.  Today when i called back and told them i would complain, the first person hung up on me.  The second put the phone down when i called back and asked for a supervisor and started laughing.  I reported them to the CRTC today, and got a feature from Rogers Home phone that allows me to choose the numbers that can reach me.  everyone else gets a not available message.

Long distance service provider. Company has called my home numerous times, each time we've asked them to remove our number from their callers list. The last time they called, my wife asked to speak to a supervisor who told her they'd file a report to their Toronto office (call centre's most likely in the Philippines) to have our number removed. Add me to list of pissed off people getting many many calls from this # several times a day since Septemeber 09! I am fed up. I have answered only to be hung up on or I have called several times and could barely speak to anyone because of language barrier or just too much inference! I finally got a hold of someone today hardly spoke english but I threatened to take action against her and the company if I get another call from them again. So we'll see if I get a call again today.
