Got that same call. I would like to know what the deal is. He said "A hospital", but didn't specify which one. He also said there was "a little problem you may want to work out".

Carmen called from 907-272-8922, she called my in laws asking for my husband and asking if his wife was named KIM.  Weird these bill collectors are getting strange.

Carmen left a message, didn't say anything about what the call was pertaining too&yes I'm behind on my medical bills:(

received an UNKNOWN CALLER call from a male who identified himself as a "Dan Reed" at 907-272-0836 which also cross references to 907-272-8922 without any further identification or subject matter.  Looks like a debt collection agency with a bunch of strange collectors.

Carmen called me from an UNKNOWN number.... when asked where she was from she said Anchorage, I specified what company was she calling from and she would not reply.  I hung up.  Carmen can eat a bag of soggy chips.

Carmen.  Vague message, but knew it was a debt collector since they said my name funny and I haven't lived in Anchorage in over a year, and I owe a few medical bills there.

I'm traveling and had all my numbers put on hold. Got an email from my neighbor that Carmen had called and asked her to tape a message to my door. If this is DCS...it sounds like a violation of the FDCA to me.

Medical Bill:   A man that called from (907) 272-0836, he said his name is Dan Read. He was very polite to me. I know this is the "UN-norm" of the collection companies, he talked to me like a gentleman.

Recieved a blocked message from someone named Carmen. Voicemail was very generic and she said my name funny.

Carman called MY work number asking for my mother.  When I asked who she was she said she called for my mother.  I told her i'm the POA and she told me to fax her the form.  I said, "I don't know who you are!' And she hung up.  I think its scammers preying on senior citizens.

Carmen called from a blocked number, she left a vague message and since I had a death in the family yesterday I called back thinking it was a family member from the other side of the family as she sounded sad. When I returned the call she was very rude (she was calling for my name, a name I share with my grandmother) when I told her I was not the one she was searching for, and that it was a family member,she demanded the phone number of my family member-when I refused to provide private information she became agressive and made many allegations ( for example to you pay the bill for the phone?-none of her business) against me. She said she had a right to collect a debt and by using a blocked number she would get a better response.She concluded that since I was obviouly not being truthful with my identity that I should just  pull out my credit card and pay the bill. I informed her that I knew my rights through the FDCA rules and asked for a supervisor she hung up.She said I knew her "name" and phone number. I dont know who this person is and I will not be speaking with anyone about a family members debt without varification of who she is. Very rude. Her number is 272-8922. It will show as a 907 blocked number.

I had a very similar experience with her.
She called several times on the same day, waking up my sleeping sick baby.
I called her back and asked her who she worked for, she began yelling at me. I told her what she is doing is considered harassment and asked that she please stop calling and then I hung up. She immediately called back, I answered and she started yelling "this is harassment at me".

I've received calls from Carmen for the past years, several times a week and often several times a day.
Before she started calling me, she would harass my sister. I am not behind in any bills and 100% do not owe any doctor bills.
I usually just ignore her calls and never return her messages, until one day she called me several times within an hour waking up my sick baby. I called her back, asked what company she worked for which she refused to tell. She then began asking me if I was such and such. The last name she was asking me was incorrect and I told her this, she informed me that I was lying. She was incredibly rude and always sounds very rude on her messages. I informed her that she has the wrong person, told her that she woke up my baby to which to laughed. I told her what she is doing is considered harassment and asked to stop calling me. I then hung up. Not even a minute later she called back and when I answered she began yelling "this is harassment at me".

I find it very odd that this women is calling people, apparently trying to collect money from people but will not state who the money is owed to or what company she works for. Who in there right mind is going to pay some random person over the phone without any information.

Just received a call from Carmen 272-8922 asking for my son.  When I answered, she was did not sound professional as she was yawning in my ear.  
Carmen:  Is XXX there?
Me:  No, I'm sorry he isn't here right now.  Would you like to leave a message?
Carmen:  Yes, Please have him call Carmen at 272-8922
Me:  May I let him know what this is in regards to?
Carmen:  It's a personal matter.  Is this his wife?
Me:  No.  Have a good day. Click!
