they just called 5 times in a row (interrupting a phone interview multiple times) and didnt leave a voicemail.

They just called me 3 times in a row. They asked for some other person. I only answered because on the third ring I was reading these posts so I picked it up to tell them not to call me any more.

This # called me re: a resume I posted on Monster.
They asked for my birthday and LAST 4 #'s of SSN!!! I did NOT give that info and the guy (who BARELY spoke English) kept using sales stratgies to get that info from me.

He said he was from "frontier communications."  Not sure what to believe except that I was NOT ABOUT to let someone steal my identity!  BeWare!!!

No clue what the phone call was about. I find it odd that someone in New Jersey is calling me in Ohio and DOES NOT speak any English. My number is also on the government No-Call registry.

Incorrect. Birthday and last four of your social are perfectly safe. Any more than that and they have a real chance of stealing your identity. This is common in a lot of recruiters, they get this info so they can submit it to their end-client for review.

There are a lot of H1B recruiters who are actually in India but operate from a company that's physically located in New Jersey and Georgia. They're easy to spot since they follow a script and will ask predictable questions and give predictable replies. Most of the time they're just going to waste your time, since they're looking for the cheap H1B candidates that they can submit forward.

Calls from someone hard to understand - heavy accent.

Are calling me about a job that will only last 1 month in NJ.

Staffing Agency calling from a resume I posted on line for a job in Ohio.
Very thick accent and some what hard to understand.
I declined the position ($12 hour) but he asked that I email an updated resume for future opportunities.
No other personal information was requested.

unsolicited call from "Yumi" at Rangam Consultants.  Arrived at same time as an email from them on behalf of their "Direct Client" from Namy Bhatt in Somorset, NJ.  

BUT CORRECT!! Combination of name,DOB and SS-digits this is PHI!!! Not supposed to be given to a starnger esp. over the phone ! I was trained by big medical ins. companies for 15 years on PHI/ HIPAA and know what I'm talking about...I also just received call on my cell (which is on DNC list !!)...NO VM left= hoodlums...Stuffing companies always living a VM: they want you to call back,they are interested in you...

They called about a job and sent me an email after I didn't answer.

This scammer could NOT even spoke one syllable words correctly and ZERO CLARITY with this goofball, so deleted phone call and BLOCKED

some morons from "Rangam Consultants" who barely spoke English trying to get me to call about a job in NYC with no legible information I could discern.

Received a call from this number only minutes after updating my resume on Monster. I let my voicemail pick it up. From what I could discern through the thick foreign accent was that they were offering me "contract work" and to please call them back. I couldn't even make out the name of the company nor the caller.

Received a call from a heavy accented person in India. Could not make out the company he represented. He left VM since I didn't recognize the #  Then received 2 E-Mails about a possible position with Verizon Wireless and also requested that I update my profile. I haven't applied with Verizon Wireless, nor am I interested in contract work. Haven't received any other VM or E-mail from them.

I guess her name is Yumi,  her ext. 223 she called and offered me two positions. well because I didn't take the first 1 she offered me (3 mos contract) I acted interested in the other one (1 yr contract). I hadn't been on monster for a couple of years and when she read my old resume, I assumed they were looking at the monster site. I asked her a lot of annoying questions and I knew for sure she was going to hang up but didn't.
I never received the email she was suppose to send me tho.. After reading these comments I'm glad I didn't give her personal info.

She did call me a few days earlier and left a msg on my vm to call her back. I didnt, but she called me back.
