Have been getting unwanted calls from FFFF since Christmas.  Jan. 27, 2012   909-259-5509   called

ID read:  Manger at FFFF

I have NEVER done business with them... never will.  I am on the NO CALL REGISTRY!  

They have called perhaps 15 to 20 times ... mostly a different number each time.  Unbelievable.

Please stop them.

First time I've ever seen this caller ID and they've called twice tonight, in about 20 minutes.

Do Not know of anyone or any business I have from California.  Do wissh they would stop.

we are constantly getting calls from FFFF, I'm sick of it and we are on a no call list as well!!  I want them to stop calling us!!  It shows up different numbers too when they call over and over again!!

I get calls from this number at least a few times EVERY DAY!!!  The caller ID reads Manager at FFFF.
Make it stop!!!

Called and asked for Joan ... told her she had wrong number. Got another call later from a different number, also asking for Joan. Told her to take the number off the calling list because she was the second one today!

I'm getting calls from this, am on the No Call Registry, and I haven't done business with FFFF for over two years! I get calls from 909-259-5509 and -5552. They call multiple times a day despite me saying TAKE ME OFF THE LIST.

This sounds like it is Feature Films for Families which is an industry that makes and markets family friendly movies.  They are an excellent industry.  I know this because I have dealt with them for years.  They get phone numbers from friends/families that use them, so that is how they get past the No Call Lists.  However, I have always found the people employed there to be very courteous and polite.  If you do not want them to call you anymore, answer the phone, and politely inform them to take you off of their list.  They will do so!

I appreciate the kind of programming they are trying to promote, but their business tactics are awful.  I have gotten dozens of calls from different numbers and it is obnoxious.

In 2010, Verizon Wireless filed suit against Feature Films for Families after the company allegedly placed nearly 500,000 illegal automated telemarketing calls in ten days to the mobile phones on Verizon's network. The calls were recorded advertisements for the FFFF film The Velveteen Rabbit.[6] In May 2011, the Justice Department, acting for the FTC, filed a complaint[7] in US District Court charging Feature Films for Families, Inc., its owner Forrest S. Baker III, and two other companies owned by Baker with "waging deceptive and illegal telemarketing campaigns pitching movies and soliciting for donations, including calls to more than 16 million phone numbers on the National Do Not Call Registry."[8] The complaint seeks "a court order to permanently bar the defendants from violating the FTC Act and the Telemarketing Sales Rule, as well as civil penalties, and disgorgement of their ill-gotten gains."[8]

I second your opinion.  I just received a call from this number, and I didn't recognize it, so I didn't answer. I looked it up here and saw your comment, so I called the number back.  It was the Family Films for Families. I had received 2 dvds from them earlier for my grandson to view. They were calling to see if we had enjoyed them, and were we going to either keep them or send them back.  The lady was very nice and friendly. Their subsidiary, Stepping Stone Entertainment, had made the films and they are excellent.

Are they still raising money to pay the civil and criminal fines from their illegal activities, or is it all gravy now?
