They say the are from they US Treasury and have a legal matter

we both got a call from US Treasury. There is another number, 909-529-0872. Since we are so sure that they are fake, we  tried to find a number or email address to file complaints, but could not find any propriate one.

I got a call from this number saying it was an important legal matter from the the Department of Legal Affairs, or something like that. I deleted it right away. It's a scam. No government agency would initiate a phone call without first sending a notification by mail or in person to you.

I verified this is a wireless phone located in Lake Arrowhead, California. This is definitely a scam.

We got a call that same call from a woman that said she was 'Lisa Davis' with an Indian accent.  She was calling about a legal action against us from the legal affairs dept of the us. treasury.  She threatened that delaying could end us up in a legal mess. and ended the call with have a 'blessed' day. Then when I returned the call the man asked if i was calling from another #? Then said he would speak only with my husband and then hung up!  i called IRS they directed me to TGTA to report this.

Same here. I called back & they could not give me info other than to hire an attorney for addressing legal actions for the CB503 issued against me. She said she would have an arrest warrant for me if I did not hire the best attorney. When pressed to give info or name she hung up on me

Pretending to be the IRS - dept of legal affairs of the US treasury. wants to take legal action on my name. I got a message and I spoke to him on a prior occasion. He wanted to give me a phone number but I was laughing at him and he hung up....the nerve of him.. lol..  [***] Alan is a foreigner w/ thick accent....sounded Filipino or East Indian.  phone number comes up at Canyon Crest Dr. and Blaine Street in Riverside, California

Female voice, probable Indian accent, identifies herself as Jennifer Allen from Dept. of Legal Affairs, urging me to call back without delay or it "could turn into a legal mess for you." 909-343-1584

We got a call for my brother-in-law and he lives in DC!  The woman left a message saying her name is Amy Taylor (sp?). She too, had an Indian accent.  She said she was from the Dept. of Legal Affairs and that it was very important we call her back at (909) 343-1584.  I agree, I think this is a scam.  I don't believe the Dept. of Legal Affairs would call before sending something in writing.

April 15, On we received a call from 909-343-1584. It was a woman by the name of Amy Taylor and she said she was with the US Treasury Department. She said to call Agent Jack Wilson at the same number as we owed back taxes. We Called Jack Wilson and he said we owed $2000.00 back taxes for the year 2009. He said in 45 minutes he was getting a warrant for our arrest with the US Marshals Service. We Said bail could cost use up to $45,000.00. We said we would contact our attorney and hung up.
