Claimed it was irs,but did not want me to come in to the office just wanted personal information over the phone

same thing, claimed to be US Dept of Treasury, recorded my response, all had accents and when I said back to them that there was a scam going around and that I didn't owe on my taxes he hung-up on me....do the same!!

Got a call today from this number.  The person of Indian heritage by the name of James Howard and said he was from the Department of Legal Affairs regarding an important matter and that this was my verbal notification of the enforcement actions "that have been decided on my name."  (whatever that was supposed to mean)  If for any reason I was too busy to call back he suggested that my attorney return the call.  Yeah right!  This just wreaks of a scam.  Going to block this number on my phone.  Chances are they won't call back.  Only the cardholder services robo-recording calls and the "life-alert" device robo-calls are the only ones who continue to call me again and again.  Ha Ha!  As I was typing this I received a call that was blocked from "Consumer Services."
