Got a 5 minute voicemail of some really bad right wing talk radio. Oh noes, Obama is going to cede American sovereignty, run for the hills!

Just got the same thing. Rush Limbaugh recording.

Got one on 12/29 at 6PM EST.  It was left as a message on my voice mail.  It was NOT Rush Limbaugh, and it actually sounded more like Chris Matthews, though judging from the content I doubt it.  I thought it might be a Ron Paul robo-call, but I couldn't listen long enough for the caller to get to the point.  He just kept going on and on and on and on and on and on.........
Very annoying.

Keep getting this long ranting robocall. This latest rant deals with how we don't need government so I think it's probably from the Koch Brothers, tea partiers, or Liberatarians. Some of it I actually agree with, and I am a middle of the roader politically - don't care for the politics of the extreme right or the left, but in general want to see the people of the U.S. get more involved in who they elect, and really check their candidates agenda out, asking all kinds of questions. Here in Wisconsin we elected a minion of the Koch Brothers, and all we got is someone who is taking whatever he can and giving it to corporate and Koch brothers interests.  I think we really got into trouble when the Tea Partiers elected all those crackpots, and now we have billionnaires pouring money into electing weak people to office who do their bidding. I am dismayed at how corporations are now allowed to purchase elections and buy politicians, even more than before -- no cap on how much they can spend on any one person's election. Politicians are now getting more wealthy in office, and furthering their corporate agendas. In effect: the 1% want more power and more money, and are willing to abolish the spirit, the integrity, the ambition and the life of the people of the U.S. to further their own agendas, which does not include once ounce of compassion for this nation. Furthermore, we need to abolish the Supreme Court's decision to allow corporations to be considered people, and support an amendment to the Constitution protecting the rights of the people, not corporate control over our government:

“As any high school civic student knows,  the first three words of the preamble to the Constitution are ‘We the People,’ ” McGovern said.  “Corporations are not people. They do not breathe.  They do not have children.  They do not die in war.  They are artificial entities which we the people create and, as such, we govern them, not the other way around.”

McGovern criticized what he called a “corporate rights” movement “that seeks to give corporations the same rights as people.”

He cited last year’s Supreme Court ruling in Citizens United vs. the Federal Elections Commission that struck down a federal law that banned independent campaign spending by corporations and unions for “electioneering” or partisan politics that advocate the election or defeat of a candidate. The ban was part of the 2002 McCain-Feingold Campaign Reform Act.

So call your representatives & senators and support the amendment to protect our rights as people:
