Message left was from Leslie Owens (trying hard to speak clearly but had a pronounced foreign accent) of the legal department about an action against me.  Indicated I should call or have my attorney call before the action was taken...then told me to have a Blessed Day - what the heck?  Definitely a scam

I received the exact same thing. But I'm reporting her. I noticed  every time I receive a call like this and I reported to the police department these calls stop until a new one happens.  I suggest we all do the same thing

Same EXACT thing happened to me,  the name, the message etc. I tried calling back to get more information on them on my land line, wouldn't go through. So I called the number back on  my cell and got through right away. A man calling himself Mark Hansen, kept asking for my name , I refused until he told me where he was calling from.  He would only say that he was calling about a legal issue and I had to give him my information. I kept refusing until he told me where he was calling from, and his response was unbelievably foul. He said I came from your mother's  (insert foul name for a woman's body part) and then he called me a mother f'er told me to go f myself and slammed the phone down in my ear. Definitely a scam, both the Leslie Owens and the Mark Hansen had accents and the things they say didn't make any sense as to a legitimate legal office calling me. I have reported this call.

The phrase "have a blessed day" is a flashing red light for an Indian or Pakistani phone scam of some type.  Ignore and block.

I actually called back and spoke to a guy who hung up when I asked for Leslie Owens, I called back another 3 times we started talking, a guy wanted my home number I asked who was he representing he hung up again. I called back a further 3 times and went to a voicemail box that was full. 100% scam scum bags

Just received the same call.  Leslie Owens from the department of legal affairs.  Said we had action taken against us and we needed to have our lawyer contact them at 909-666-4605.  And the call did end with Have a Blessed Day!  I am pretty sure it was a computerized voice.

How do you report a call?

I recieved the same call from this #  Bogus and unsettling!!! Who are these creeps?

I received the same call.  I called back and it said that the messages were full.  I called again, got a live person with a thick middle eastern accent that I could barely understand.  I asked him for his name and the company he represents & he said from the Department of Legal Affairs.  I said fine!  What's your full name and the address of your company and he hung up on me!  What a waste of time!  Next time I'll have the airhorn ready to blow it in his ear for wasting my (and apparently all of your) time!  I even called the police to report them but they just said that there were so many of these, they just change the number and do it again.  The best thing to do is just block the call, do these write-in's to warn others or get a big airhorn!!!

Received a phone call from this number, Ms. Leslie Owens, from Dept of Legal Affairs, heavy accent.  I noticed on this page that they have been very active and very much a scam.  It would be nice with so many people identifying this number that it could be back traced or at least shut down rather than forcing everyone they to call to "block" the number.  Can't the phone company "block the outgoing number"?  Thanx in advance for anything you can do to stop at least one of these scam artists.

Our 95 year old neighbor was called from this number today.  Needless to say she was quite scared.  We notified the police but they say there is nothing they can do.  I find it hard to believe they can't track the number down and arrest these characters they are clearly trying to get money out of people using tactics that would terrify many.

Don't bother with an air horn. Put a bowl with baby carrots and cut celery sticks and munch on those while talking to scammers. Be careful to get no saliva on your phone's mouthpiece.

Leslie Owens learned English well enough to become a scammer apparently.  She left a threatening message on our answering machine, committing FRAUD here in Denver, Colorado yesterday afternoon.  She said the exact things on our machine that she said to others who are reporting her here.   Try Mail Fraud next time Leslie.  Good luck with that. She won't because she will actually get caught and prosecuted.  Any AUTHENTIC official business would be done by United States Mail.  Please ignore or hang up when scamming/spoofing male/female foreigners call or email you, they are simply not legitimate.  Does anyone remember the days when everyone who called your telephone number actually knew you personally?  I certainly do!  If they want your account information, social security digits, or money mailed or wired (i.e. Western Union), they are simply scammers.  And Leslie, please keep God out of it, as you will need to stand alone and answer to your creator one day.  No amount of providing for yourself or your family is a worthy excuse.

This telephone number is on the Airtel Network and is from Maharashtra, India.  Gotcha Leslie!

Got the same call today (5/11/2016) from same person...The CALLER ID shows Daniel Camp 909-666-4605.  The message left was from a Leslie Owens (sounded like it was a recording and definitely a foreign accent), stating she is with Department of Legal Affairs with this number 909-666-4605 ....the message ..."this is a verbal notification regarding enforcement action that has been started in your name, and if you can't call back, you should retain an attorney or you could be involved in a "legal" mess.  She ended the call with "have a blessed day and God Bless".

So I called the number, and I got a voice mail indicating that it is the Internal Revenue Service, but, that NO messages can be left at that number.

Seeing the other blogs relieves me as I now believe it was a SCAM.  Who do you report this to?

I received a message  from Leslie Owens (foreign accent) of the legal department about an class action suit against me.  Indicated I should call or have my attorney call before the action was taken...then told me to have a Blessed Day.  Searching the number sounds like this not actually a class action suit against me but a scam.  I did not call back

I'm from Colorado,  I received exact call. For sure a scam. Scamers just phishing for information, never give them your name of phone number. Be safe
