Constantly calls asking for the maintenance manager. Always claims he spoke to them weeks beforehand yet can never remember their name. Solicitor call. Ignore!

Same compliant as Julie's.   The caller is a man.  It is our company policy that we do not respond to solicitation over the telephone.  He will not state what company he is with, nor will he leave a voice mail message.  Each and ever time he I transfer his call to voice mail, he calls back immdiately and states that his call was disconnected.  He not only is asking for "Jim" our maintenance manager (note....that IS NOT  Jim's title), he is now asking for the cell phone number for "Jim".  He gets rude when told "No", and has stated, "This will not fly".  
This person has been contacting our company now almost every day, and has been for the last few weeks.  

This same guy just called me asking for our maintenance guy and also did not remember his name. I just put him on hold until he hung up...

Just got the same call.  Insistent that he speak with someone that he spoke to last week (which he didn't)!  

He called saying he was at the warehouse and needed to know the circuit type for an install that afternoon.  Then got pissy when I wouldn't give out cell phone numbers.  Needless to say, noone knew who he was or what he intended to install.
Now we put him on permanent hold.

Calling claiming to be with our supply company wanting to sell linens, Scam big Scam.

Also got a call from him asking for the building manager, and he said he was an electrician that needs his signature. When I refused to provide the info, and asked his number he back peddled and said he would try another number. Definitely think this is a scam, so don't provide any info.

Got a call a couple weeks ago asking for our building manager but couldn't give his name.  I told the guy on the phone that we have a couple of people who run the warehouse and he responded "well, send me to the most arrogant one, he is probably the one that claims he's the manager!"  He called again today and asked to speak to our manager by name (because last time he got sent to the front desk and our new girl sent him to the manager's voicemail).  He said "do this, transfer me to "manager's name" ok?  Thanks!"  He was really rude and it was obvious this was a scam.  I hung up on him and he called right back and got sent to voicemail but no message was left.  It showed up as La Verne, CA on our caller ID.  I wouldn't answer the phone or give any sort of information to this type of person!

I am receiving this call on a regular basis...and receiving the same message as all of the above...I am now turning him in to the phone company...this guy needs to be stopped!

This guy is very pushy, and was demanding to speak to someone in maintenance and that he is with Midway Electrical.

This person continues calling and making annoying offers.  I don't want him calling me anymore!!!

I got a call from this number too! Saying the same thing, asking to speak to the person he talked to previsouly about building repairs. I told him this isn't a building, but my home. These calls are kinda scary.

The guy keeps calling and is very rude if anybody can figure out how to get him to stop calling let me know.

Gotta love these idiots. Asking for our maintenance person, saying they spoke to them before the holidays and can't remember their name.  HAHA    The caller's name is John and he's the electric guy.  HAHA  From Commercial Industry.   These people are so sad for they stoop so low to work for a company that is so trashy.  

He says he is John from Midway Electrical. He says he talked with the maintenance manager last week but forgot his name. I immediately tell him we don't have a maintenance manager and I tell him he called last week and we told him the same thing. He then says I've never spoken with you and I don't know who you are and I said and I as well. He says are you calling me a liar and I said well if the shoe fits. He said let me talk to your manager. And I said he's not here then he calls him by name and says well I will just call him on his cell phone and tell him how rude you were to me. I said well you just do that and he slams the phone down. SCAMMMER....the minute you tell them a name they will call every day stating they talked with them. We don't buy from electrical supply companies that are based in California when we are in Alabama and get our light bulbs next door. These callers are rude and unprofessional. Report them to the Do NOt Call list as we are doing.

Has called me over the last two weeks. I did not answer because I didn't recognize the number, searched it, and now reporting it after the 4th time. My number is "do not call" registered.

I got a call from a very insistant young girl named Ashley, wanting to speak with our maintance manager. She identified herself as working for Midway electric, and kept repeating that she was returning a call from our office, which she claimed that she was not sure whose call she was returning, because she could not read the name written by her boss.  When I pressed for details, she became condesending and rude.  Eventually, I told her that I make the calls for the maintance problems, she hung up on me.  
I like Jen's idea of putting them on hold until they hang up.  I wish that I thought to do that myself, and I will remember to do it if I get another call from them again.

Same guy called, stated the same things. Spoke with our manager but doesn't remember the name. I gave him names and told him he had the wrong dept. for those names...transferred him to voicemail and haven't heard from him since.
Was rude, said he was electrician buying our parts..told him there was no way I could help him. He got frustrated because he couldn't get the info he wanted.
Was VERY unprofessional with the new girl who answered the phone...that's what tipped her off this wasn't a real business call.

This caller never identifies himself.  Always asks for our Maintenance manager.  Our company leases our office space and we do not provide him the info he asks for.  He calls at least once a week and has been known to be very rude, hang up on us and get belligerent.  Would love to see the FCC shut this fellow down.

This guy has the same MO everytime, but when I have time I like to waste his time asking him many questions. He calls weekly and when I tell him that he spoke with ME last week he gets frustrated and hangs up. I like the hold trick though!!
