Found out it's the Red Cross

its red cross for some blood donation they call so many times..

It's the American Red Cross. Sad to say, but they are making me wish I never donated blood. They call non-stop. I block the # and then they call from another #.

Called at 12:49pm but left no message. If it's the Red Cross like others on here have said, they call me constantly from different numbers and never leave a message. I still have three weeks before I am eligible to donate again. Geesh

I gave blood a couple of years ago and made the mistake of giving them a contact number.
They have hounded me since....first from one office (connected to the area that I donated in), then it got handed over to another office in a different county, then they rotate the calling numbers (apparently hoping that I'll answer it and they can make a pitch for another donation).  I have several of their numbers blocked, but I've had to add this new one to the blocked list.

It's a shame that such a valuable service to the community thinks that it has to resort to such 'low-life robo-call' tactics.  Unfortunately, it turns me OFF from wanting to give blood any time soon!!!

I called them back and calmly explained that I receive calls every day with no message left. I've asked in the past that they remove me and they haven't. I told him that at this point, it really feels like harassment. He took some info and thanked me (in a very annoyed tone of voice). Let's see if it worked. :/

I am a teacher and they called so often (on my cell) while I was teaching, it totally disrupted the learning environment.  So, like other commentors above, I called and politely asked them to refrain.  The calls stopped for awhile and now have started again.  This IS harassment.  From now on I will ONLY donate blood to the San Diego Blood Bank, as they have an option to email only when they are in need of your type of blood.

Why do you have your phone ON while actively teaching?
Do your regular callers not know not to call you during those hours, or are they unable to leave voicemail?

I know of 3 ways to get the calls to stop (temporarily at least)...
1.) Tell them you just got a tattoo. This requires a one year waiting period by their standards (for the most part). If they still call, just tell them it was a stick and poke tattoo. I know this works because when I got my most recent tattoo I told them this when they called and I had no more calls for over a year.
2.) Call them and ask to be removed from their list. It prooooobably will work for a small amount of time but be aware they're probably going to start calling again.
3.) Just donate some blood! =)
They're definitely leaving you alone for around 8 weeks after that ;)

This phone number is similar to another Red Cross phone number from which they used to hassle me.  Last 3 digits are different than the last one, so ARC makes sense.  That said, I would also tell ARC, leave a bloody message (pun intended).   Call w no message is lame and makes me think they're using a telemarketing company, rather than doing it themselves.  It's not hard for a robo-call to leave a message.

You can ask them not to call you so often.  I told them they were calling too often, and now they call me about 3 or 4 times a year just to remind me it's time.

It is most definitely red cross. I called the number back. They will kindly remove you if you ask but cant blame em for their dedication to get more donors. Blood saves lives!  -so I asked them to email me instead :)

they rejected my donation, put me on the "cannot donate list" yet they are still calling me to donate.

I get calls from this number INCESSANTLY.  They never leave a message.  If it is the Red Cross how do we get them to STOP?  PERMANENTLY?

Just say you donate double red cell ... They wouldn't call again for four month Because they know u can't donate again until then
