Called my home just now. This is not a working nu number.  A scammer, i blocked the number.

I just got a call from this number. I answered my phone and they didn't respond. I'm glad this report was available. Now I know NOT to call them back.

keep getting calls from unlisted phone numbers. this is just another one. i blocked the number but when are these types of scams going to end?

8 am first thing this morning. Outfit trying to consolidate credit card debt into lower rates. Told him to take me off call list.

I keep getting these calls from Rachael at Card Member Services about a new low rate.  My number is unlisted and I hav registered my phone with the call blocker.  However I keep getting the calls and as soon as I block 1 number they switch to another number!  Any suggestions???

Better your chances by turning your machine off. As long as they get some kind of an answer, they're going to keep on calling. Try blocking the number, possibly getting a call blocker, or just ignoring the call entirely.

Just got a call on my cell....didn't answer, they didn't leave a message. I cannot block anymore numbers, so now I save the number(s) in my contacts and list the name as "Solicator" or "DO NOT ANSWER"....LOL!!!

It was an auto-dialed number generated by a machine. Here's the deal: while the companies that are pulling the scam may be offshore, the call centers that connect when "1" is pushed are in the US, manned by American employees. They know what they're doing. They know they're working for scam artists, yet they and the call center owners continue to act on behalf of the offshore criminals. In the middle of the recession, I might have felt bad for the call center workers, who may have really needed the money. But the recession's over and they're still working there, earning bonuses when they do con some elderly person into giving out their credit card info. Right now, all we can do is let 'em have it with some well-chosen expletives. (Make it quick and dirty - they hang up fast.) But until someone goes after the call centers, this is not going to stop. Feel free to cut and paste this.

Called and silence on their end.

They told me I must refinance my credit card! I don't have any credit cards, non at all. I don't owe anyone any money. It shows up on the caller ID as North Carolina. They won't stop calling. I have reported them to the FCC.

Now calling with fake alarm offers, total fraud.

Ignored the call. It's from North Carolina and I know no one there.

I ignored the call. I just got my phone number yesterday with a new phone and was still in the process if charging my new phone, when I got this call.  I haven't even given this number to anyone yet.

Called cell, on DNC list, knew the area code was probably from my buddy Rachael, didn't answer, no message left.

Just got a call from this number. Silence on the other end. Then a dial tone.
