This person calls but you can't call them back.

Happened to me to. I got a called but I cannot call back

I just got called several times in a row but when I call back from my cell it is rejected, when I call from my land line it rings?????? Anyone know who's number this is, I have been getting called alot from it!

I think it is a credit collections line..That is what they usully do..I have been told they have many numbers so that the same number is not repeated all the time and it throws the person and they answer...I am not sure what creditor it is.....I thought it was a telemarketer and then I was told it was a collection agency...

this number keep call the house. each time someone answer that person doesn't say anthing.

This number is a number used for Private or Unknown callers.  Family members call me whose lines are private and this is the number that shows up on my caller ID.  It may be someone you know who chooses to have their number private--or other callers (bill collectors, etc.) who do not want you to know what number they are calling from.

Just got a call from the same number. It said they were from "my" credit card company and nothing was wrong with my credit card but if I called them quick I could reduce my interest rate. Yeah, right. when was the last time a CC company called me to reduce MY rate? NEVER. It's got to be telemarketing of some kind. Considering I have never been late on a bill (thank god) it's not a bill collector. I live in that area code so I'd love to find out where they are calling from and give them a face to face visit.

When this person calls me i answer it and the phone just rings and when i tried to call them back to asked me to put in my pin number

We received 4 of these calls in a row at 3:35 - 3:38 in the morning.

This is a scam they tell you that you are faces charges from some company but its all a scam, this is the callback number where you can actually speak to someone 310-598-1766.  I called it and threatned to have the police called and told them I knew it was a scam and they havent bothered me anymore!!!!

This caller says you owe a company and not paid(online loan company).  I've had several calls in the past and told them they were recorded and my attorney would be contacting them.  I've started receiving these calls again...there are several numbers they use but I'm told that they are people in an India location but getting access to US numbers.  These numbers can look legit and from  your phone exchange.  Just told the one from this last call that he was being recorded and my lawyer will contact them...we'll see if it happens again..I reported the last time to the Attorney general's office but didnt get any type of reply.

Just got a call from this number and when I answered no one said anything. I could hear some kind of music or something in the background. It was like I answered the phone to fast and they hadn't turned the volumn down yet. Then there was a silence for about 10 seconds and then they hung up.

I got a call from this number on today. I answered it and they said that they were from Carolina Music. I dont know anything about this "Carolina Music." I was on my cell phone with my sister so I asked the caller to hold and when I came back he hung up the phone. I dont know what in the world is going on. But from the other responses from other complaints I see its a similar situation.

My husbad called from his cell in afganistan. Normally the caller ID has "unknown caller" but today it had "private name" 910-778-7116 as the number.  I almost missed his call because I wasn't going to answer. His number is an overseas number and not even remotely close to this number.

I just had the same number call, the individual on the other end I could not understand he kept asking for wife. Tried to call  back no answer.

I received a call from this number, and the person had a very heavy accent that made it difficult to understand. He said he was calling from Madrid Spain. When I questioned how that could be possible when it was showing up as a NC call, he said he was at a phone booth. I knew this had to be something fishy. He said his name was Frankleen Sado, I hung up, googled the name and his name is connected to the Nigerian Scammers. They are now using all kinds of schemes to steal from innocent Americans. If anyone receive anything from this guy, just know it is a SCAM...

They called about 4 times. One guy, then a girl, both asking for my wife.  didn't speak english well.  She couldn't deviate from the script, got frustrated when I started yelling at her on the phone, kept trying to go back to the script.  I knew it was a scam when I heard it on the answering machine.
They wanted to verify something about my visa ending in XXXX (we don't have a visa).  It's called phishing, and it is definitely a scam.  I told them I had their number and threatened to call the police.  Then I kept calling their number.  I'm pretty sure there is an FBI office that deals with this.  It is my next step.
