scam artist telling people that they owe money to a court for x amount of money. beware give no info and hang up quick or scream them out. either way still a scam dont trust at all

The person they were asking to speak with has been deceased 3yrs. They said it was for court document serving. I told them they has better remove my name and number as I would contact the police.

a guy called me asking me if I knew someone i had no idea who it was, very weird call. i told him not to call my number again.

A person named Anthony, told me he was from DF Services. He said he was a locater company and he wanted my sister-in-law, Cathy Boyce, to call the following number; 1-855-412-9050. I asked him the full name of his company and he said that was it. I let him know I needed more information about the full name of his company and the name of the company whose phone number he had given me. He got belligerent so I told him I was not going to speak to him and hung up.

Definitely a scammer.  Missed the call.  Called back and it says "The Magic Jack" user you are trying to reach is unavailable.  Who in the heck uses those things anymore

I just got a call from this number with that exact scenario! looking for my ex- brother in law. I asked him what company he was working for  and he said my BIL would have to call on his own if he has a question. I asked him who is the papers being served from, which is general information that anyone can know and he said that was confidential. In the end I told him I didn't know anyone by that name and to remove my number. What a joke.

Called today and inferred that court proceedings would continue if I did not call another phone number immediately. That number was for Crystal View Consulting, who tried to scam me into paying a fake debt. Nice try.

Just started calling my cell # last few days. Doesn't leave message. I put on call blocker. This is a big scam in Florida and you can prosecute anyone who threatens you with court or jail or arrest - just have to have the info. You cannot record live calls in Florida without permission.

me too, tried to call back and it was some magic jack and on top of threatened  they said i was going to be served legal papers  so i said hold on let me conference in my attorney and they hu call back and got that magic jack msg

looking for a person not of this number and also say magic jack.. how is it we cant be safe with our numbers!

Lady names Lynette Brooke called me asking to speak to my mom, I got a message instead. DF services, really? C'mon man, why can't you guys get a regular job like the rest of us. Instead of trying to scam us, it's not like money falls off trees for us people you know.

family relative got a phone call for me but with a maiden name that has not been used in 15 years.   She gave the name Lynette Brooke and gave one number for me to call which comes back as Crystal View Consulting and then the other number that my relative got off the phone was for "magic jack" customer.  After reading all of these posts and others, it is enough to make anyone angry.    

Got the same thing myself got a phone call saying I owe T-Mobile a debt which was paid off a long time ago! He then threatened me telling me that they are making a second attempt to serve me, I told him go ahead because I have not seen any legal documentation being delivered to me or in the mail! He then disputed to me that We are taking you to court! In return being me I told him that you know it is against the law to threaten me and harass me with taking me to court! He then stayed quiet and again started with the threatening! So I am definitely reporting this so called company to the FTC and THE STATE ATTORNEYS GENERAL OFFICE!

Received call for a person unknown to me, I said i didn't know the person, they said they would remove my number and inform the court and that he (person unknown to me) would be served. I asked the name of the firm and was told DC Services. I asked for more information and the woman hung up. Semed like a scam so I called back the number and got the magic jack message others above received and then googled the number.

I just received a phone call from this number. A lady asked to talk to someone I don't even know. When I said I don't know that person, she hung up. I called back to ask who they were, and, again, she hung up. I block their phone number.

I also received a call from this number 10 mins ago asking for a female who I do not know.  The caller was also a female but did not get her name.  I informer her she has the wrong number.  This said number had called two days ago but I ignored the call then.  Will know now not to accept.  On my caller ID shows Fayetteville, NC.

This (assuming by the voice, woman) called me and said that this number was in her boyfriends phone. I told her she has the wrong number and that it was impossible because I'm hundreds of miles away from NC.

Just received a call from the same number looking for my ex-brother in law.  Saying he had used my name and number as a contact for "court proceedings".      I was only married to my ex a couple of  years over 25 years ago.   I actually didn't know who they where looking for (at the time of the call the name they gave didn't ring a bell, it was that long ago).   Once I hung up I made the connection.    Sort of un-nerving how much personal info is so easily accessed.

Just got a call from this number.  Based on the responses here, I've added it to my reject list.  People please don't answer unknown phone numbers.  If it's that important, they will leave a message.
