His name is Robert Topal from Beyone Star.  I noticed several posts with his name and the phone number 678-608-7828.  He called and left me a message regarding a job on the same day I posted my info on Oilfield Services.com ( a job site for oilfield workers).  I called him back and he said he was following up about the interview he and I had the other day.  I said there was no interview.  He told me "Yes there was" and that I must have forgoten.  He said he also sent a job description which he didn't.  I asked him what Beyond Star did, where are they from, are they a recruiter or are they an employer?  He would not tell me.  In fact he became defensive and hung up after I pressed to find out what his company did and how/why he has my personal information.  I later found several scam reports for Beyone Star and Robert on a simple google search.  Robert Topal is either a very bad scam artist or he needs to learn some professional phone skills.  Also, turn your television off when your on the phone!!!  I'm willing to bet that Robert's next step will be to create a few posts following my comments.  They will be from some "former clients" of his thanking him for the great job he's done.  I noticed he did the same thing in the 678-608-7828 posts.

I got a call from Robert Topal (912-376-6054) this morning, the day after Christmas: red flag number one.  He identified himself as the Director of Operations from Beyond-Star but on his voice mail, it sounded like OnStar which would have made perfect sense, given my field.  But the Director of Operations is calling me, and not HR?  Red flag number two.  I also found him on LinkedIn.  His profile pic is him (I assumed) in a naval officer's uniform; also weird.  Is he in the Navy or is he the Director of Operations?  Red flag number three.  But on Plaxo.com, there's a completely different profile pic.  This guy is trouble.  Robert is a "stay away".

I also just received a call from this guy.  I am so glad I did a little research thanks to 800notes.  We all need to look out for one another in today's world.  Always a scammer out there.  Thanks to everyone for posting this information.  I will stay away from this guy.

I received a call from Robert Topal as well. He just called me at 2:30pm on SUNDAY, NEW YEARS DAY !!!!!!!  Red flag for sure. He said he was responding to my resume that I just posted on Friday. He said he was director of operations and such.
Thank goodness I tried to research him first and thanks to this website. He won't be getting a call back from me.

Yes he also called me.. i said i am at job  so i will call in lunch he said.. we have 5 interviews in this morning... You have a good day... and hung up...well no Atticates Lots of ..Attitude.. in fact he doesn't know how to speak with people..seems like scam..!!!! while he was talking.. he said he saw my resume on a site...and i found i never ever post my resume there....this i came to know when i called the owner/support staff of the website.

Yeah I had recieved a call from this guy as well and he doesnt sound legit and he was offering me a drafting position in whiting iowa. What he doesnt know apparently is there is no drafting firms in the town of whiting iowa. I called him back and he was rude and very short and hung up on me.

Called him back this morning, and confronted him. He could not give me straight answer. He tried to assure me that he is legit.... Regardless of anything there is something is definitely wrong with this guy and the way he does his business. (btw does anyone understand what he does ? lol )
When someone calls Analyst with 10 years experience, expect to be analyzed mr Topal. I figured you are not legit 2 minutes into conversation.
One thing I know for sure that I do not want to work for the company who trusted a person like that to screen candidates.

Got a call from this guy this afternoon. Said he found my resume on a CAD site but I could tell just from how he spoke in the voicemail that this didn't seem legit. Not to mention why would a guy in Georgia be hiring for positions in Minnesota? It didn't add up, and sure enough I checked the number out and found this site confirming my suspicions.

This 'Robert Topal' has won the award for being the most inept SHILL this site has ever seen!! STAY AWAY!!
Anyone person or persons who will stoop to FALSELY endorsing a scam is obviously proving that only a fool would want anything to do with it.

If everyone does not believe that this joker runs "fool school", just read the posts. What kind of degree could this (garbage can at the corner of 5th & Gin) produce? I'm sure the school is just like those "Capital one" commercials. "Hello, this is Peggy speaking...".
