Received a call but they never said anything and hung up in 4 seconds

these people call me 5-6 times a day, i dont know who they are but ive answered twice and no one was there...

Calls 5, 6, 7 times a day - no one on the other end - calling for someone else who used to have the telephone number - will not stop calling even after being told they have the wrong number

Im pretty sure this is World Financial Bank, aka Victoria Secret. I know tht I am behind about a month so they would be calling me for that purpose. If any of you have a late Vicky's bill, thats probably who it is...

I get these calls too.  Last night I got one at 9:45pm.  Ugh.

I all of sudden got a mass amount of phone calls from these people and i do not owe any money.  Thus, I do not know who they are or why they are calling.

I've rec'd 4-5 calls this weekend from this #. I'm pissed. They are not even there when you have the decency to answer the phone. I'm really mad that my cell #(my only phone)has somehow been leaked...and I have never had a Victoria's Secret account.

I forgot to mention the most important part. When I called the # back, the automated system asked me for my whole 9 digit social security #. Can you believe??

Okay this is the last of the updates regarding (913)563-5505. I just called Victoria's Secret (800)411-5116 and reported these calls to them. They said they were supposed to be for someone else and they would remove my phone # from the account. They also said it was perfectly legal for them to ask for an entire social security # from someone over the phone. My very smart co-worker says that is not legal....

NCO Financial uses WFNNB to harass NCO debtors. If you are an NCO debtor and you answer the phone, no one will respond. Call will automatically terminate.
Yes, this is illegal.

My Victoria's Secret account has been current for over a month now. They ring my cell phone just one time and hang up. I am really pissed off about this. All my credit cards are current and i still get the calls.

They call from this number 1-913-563-5505, caller ID says Kansas City KS. Spoke with lady that called. She asked to speak with my 19yr old daughter about a matter with Victoria Secret. She said it was a "Personal Business Matter" and she couldn't discuss it with me. I said to her not to call this number because it was under my name and she hung up. However, that didn't stop her from calling again today. This time I said that I will report them if they continued. She asked if I could have her call the following number: 1-800-685-7020. I said I would let her know. Later on during the day, I received a call from "WFNNB 614-729-6035". I wasn't home so didn't answer. From reading this website I realized that it comes form the same people.
Once my daughter came home, I asked her to call 1 800 685-7020 and told her to not give any account information or personal information if they asked except her name. It turns out that the number is a machine which asks you for your account number (of what it doesn't say, there is no identification of any company) or your social security number if you don't know your account number. Very slick but not enough to fool me.

All this for my question. How do you stop these people from calling? I need something that works because right now I am rabioso.

that is extremely not legal. not even banks are allowed to ask.
