- SlamminthescammersI checked the number at my work today, appears to be a spoofed number. They called me again this afternoon. I know you scammers don't care about this because I continue to get scammer calks, and you seem to think you'll never get caught, but I do work in law enforcement, so I implore you, keep the calls coming.
- ptcalled my office threatening that two warrants are being issued and they'll serve me at my office or home for fraud attached to my name and social security number....which is [***]. I've been scammed by a company like this before, have paid what they said I owed only to have it surface again. SO...if you have EVER taken a payday loan, be aware that even though you paid it off, they SELL all of your information and the scam continues. I have a lawyer that is working on a class action lawsuit so my best advice is to document everything, every call, ask for exactly who they represent, proof of the debt which you need to have faxed to you and they either go away or push it further and will say they'll only email you. I accepted the email and received a generic letter of intent which wasn't on letterhead of any company. They pushed hard, called my boss, my mother, my husband (ding-ding, they asked for references when I took this loan....12 years ago) and told them I was being arrested for fraud. They went as far as to give a case number which is illegal, they are not lawyers, also illegal to say, and if someone tells you that you're going to be served, it happens within 48 hours. It's been 4 months since the last fury. I had my lawyer call and talk to thieir 'lawyer' who isn't registered with the bar association in KS who wouldn't provide any of this information to him. So long story short, don't let them bully you into freaking out and paying them
- Caller: they wont' tell you
- Call type: Debt collector
- ingridcalling about some loan I took in 2007 giving my ss number saying I will I have warrants, and will be served f and have to go to court.. didn't want to give me any info for an office to go personally to get the issue resolved.. no documentation re: this loan or anything. I just wanted proof or something in documentation from their office and they said they do not do this. they would send me an email after I make some sort of payment. ridiculous and funny..

- blhThey also call from 401-223-3254 with the same message as above. They never leave a name just that they are with the processing department.
- Caller: never tell you

- Ticked by scammersThey also call me daily and I'm tired of it. They also call from a number in Michigan that has been reported. They leave the same message. It's getting ridiculous. I think these people have too much credit card debt from the holidays and are looking for a way to pay it. Well it won't be from me that's for sure.
- not falling for it| 5 repliesgetting threats of being arrested, going to court, they call me and when that don't work they call my mom and my brother this is getting old already how do I retract my info isn't there a identity protection that will squash these scammerz

- No Dummy replies to Scam| 1 replyI've been getting the same message. They tried the same thing about 3 months ago. I told them if its something real I will see you when I see you. Didn't hear from them again until this week. Pure scam.
- scammer replies to No DummyJust received call threaten to take me to jail see me in court no name no company address stated 3rd time call this was 1st call ever received. Stated I would be arrested for fraud
- SlamminthescammersAnd the scam continues, don't pay these idiots a dime, there is no paperwork, no charges, they don't even have the power to file charges.... Any legitimate agency is not going to call you o give you heads up that they are filing charges, they just do it,
- Lynn replies to ScamYes, they called me yesterday also. They have called me at least 3 times in the last week. Gave me a case# and said they have 2 charges filed against me for fraudulent actions connected to my name and ss#. I have never used payday loan as some have. I am keeping a log. They tried this crap with me last year also. When they give the name of the person who supposedly they are looking for, it is always garbled. I did call them last year and told them to stop calling me and they did for several months. Now here we go again. I would think they would have already confirmed my address and not depend on me to give it to them...lol Ding Bats. They will eventually get caught.

- Silvester SGot the same phone call, "looks like 2 counts of fraud.."blah blah blah. Same recorded message that I've gotten many many times before. Usually the call comes from 4012233254..its funny how persistent these scammers are (you can ignore them for years and they keep persisting)...guess they figure one day i'll wake up in a cold sweat and wanted to give them my money to stop the calls. Guess what fraudsters, I don't care if you keep calling, its just a simple click of a button to delete your voicemail...That's a lot easier that giving you all of my bank info, then having to change all of that once you start calling me again from a different number with a new scam. In 2012 you made over 5 billion off of unaware Americans and I won't be one of those people..ever.
- imnofoolThese people called me last year (2013) telling me I owe money to someone I never heard of. My husband investigated by calling the Better Business Bureau. They called me today Jan. 2014 and said I committed fraud and will be summoned. After investigating it turned out to be the same people. This time I called the number and a woman answered the phone saying please hold. I hung up called back and another woman presented her name as if she was professional. She said her name was Carol but still never gave me the name of the business. I then called again just to see who would answer this time. I was placed on hold. I called back on last time and a man answered, again no mention of the business name. It is very unfortunate that we live in a world where people like this can get away with committing fraud. Its pathetic that money is the route to all evil. Please be careful and investigate before you give any money to anyone calling. Remember if someone is trying to get money from you legally you will receive court documentation with letterhead.

- OkaThey called me saying that fraud activity has been attached to my social number. Scam!!
- Call type: Debt collector
- Try_MeI received the same type of call today. I've reported these people in the past to no avail. They just get new numbers and try new tricks. I also got a live person on the phone a few months ago who told me this was in reference to a pay day loan I took over in the internet in 2005. First of all, no. Second, 9 years ago?? REALLY? You're trying to collect a, supposedly, $200 debt from almost a decade ago? I don't think so. So, I add them to a 'Do Not Answer' contact on my phone and have it set up to send all calls straight to voice mail. I can't do anything about that fact that they call my parents and scare the crap out of them on a regular basis.
