544am; female caller asking if this was xyz business, then hanging up.

I don't answer calls from numbers I'm not familiar with..

called, no message left or anything -

Caller is violating the 'don't call list'

You know you have to update your DNC phone numbers every year, also, there's certain loopholes certain companies can get around the DNC laws - LEGALLY.

Please do not post false information.  Unless you remove your number from the DNC list it is one there forever.  "Registrations on the National Do Not Call Registry DO NOT EXPIRE. If you have previously registered your number, there is no need to register again."

If the loopholes you are referring to are debt collectors, charities, surveys, informative calls, and political calls, then yes they can call you,, but if they are selling something, there is no loophole.  Further all of them are obligated to put you on their internal and external do not call lists when told (notice I didn't say asked) to do so.
