I didn't answer, but they continue calling.

Keeps calling, but no message, shows as unknown

I keep getting calls from this number and it shows March of Dimes but
no message.

I recieved a call from this number. I tried to answer it and there was no one on the other side. Probably a computer call. And seeing others beleive this is from March of Dimes, makes sense. I have given to them in the past so it was probably a computer call to solicit me, and I hung before the call switched to a live solicitor.

I got a call from this number at 8:15 a.m. on a Saturday. Woke us up. A woman said she was calling from the March of Dimes and I said they should not be calling at that time and take us off their list. She said she would, then my husband grabbed the phone and said some worse things to her.. hopefully that will do the trick. I called the number back and if you press 1, after a spiel about the March of dimes, it gives you the option of having your number taken off their list. But we ARE already on the do not call registry, so they are violating it. I also called my state march of dimes chapter to tell then about it.

You people call me two to three times a day. if i answer you hang up. If i do no answer, you sit on the phone and let my answering mahine run. I have told all my friends that contributing to MARCH OF DIMES is a big waste  of money - that they pay these people who do not take their jobs seriously. I called my state March of Dimes to report them. They have called as early as 7:30am which is illegal regardless that they are a charity. They are just rude.

These people call more than once each day.  I have not answered, but they do not leave a message.  I have reported them TWICE to donotcall.gov so far and plan to continue reporting them.  Maybe, just maybe if enough people report them to as many places as possible, they'll get the message that their tactics are totally without effect other than to irritate people.

They keep calling every day. If I don't answer, they don't leave a message. If I do answer, they hang up on me. What the hell???

They've been calling daily for over a week.  I finally answered as this one was about 8:30 p.m. today and I was POd.  I asked about that and was told March of Dimes calls on Sunday.  I told her the calls are a pain, that I do contribute to March of Dimes but if the calls continued I would stop.  Hope that works.

charitable organizations are exempt from do not call list.

They call quite a few times during the week. There is no name listed, just a repeat of the phone number.

Several calls.  If I'm not home, no message is left, but an annoying beep noise continues like that of an open line.  I am on a "Do Not Call" list.

Last year they started calling us some times as much as 2 times a day - every day! Finally my husband answered and told them they had a wrong number when they asked for me. This was after months of almost daily calls. They just started up again a few weeks ago. I will not contribute to them due to their hounding practices and the fact that they hire an outside firm to raise money for them, which means they are not getting 100$ of my money. This makes me sad since I had a preemie child and like what they do but not the way they go about fund raising.

No one answers, called several days in a row, sometimes twice.

It comes up March of Dimes.  I have asked them to quit calling several times but they continue to (no matter what the time or day).  I support charities as I can, I don't need to be harassed

Thanks to all for posting information.  I received a call again tonight (Sunday at 7:30pm).  They have been calling ALL week.  The number usually comes up as an 866#, but tonight it was this number.  When I do answer, they hang up.  They do not leave a message.  This is very annoying.

Several time a week this number calls my home and no one speaks.  If it is the March of Dimes, as some callers think, why would they not state their purpose and mark me off as "called".  This is harrassment.

I called the March of Dimes HQ in New York at 914-997-4589.  This number 914-293-2736 is  one of a telemarker they use.   Spoke with Carol Ziff - Customer Service,  as to this number being possible fraud and it IS NOT.  She said they would take me off their call list.  She was very polite and professional in handling my concerns - and that guarantees them a donation this year. (I think they are having problems with this telemarker)

We got two calls in Sept from this number, and tonight we got another call but the last four digits being 2738.

got a call from 914-293-2736 for the second time this week.  There is no one there.  Called the number back and got a recording for the March of Dimes.  Would like them to stop calling!
