Scam call regarding Niagara Mohawk bill - ignorant disgusting scum

Mrs. Balor left message about my National Grid account. Returned call and was left on hold for 15 minutes.
No identification as you would expect from a large company.
Checked this site while on hold and hung up after reading the posts

A Mrs. Fallon this time asking for a call back to discuss service charges on my Ni-Mo bill. Gave a reference number and asked to have my bill ready of course to steal information. Ni-Mo died in the 2002 merger as well as most of line maintenance.

Professional-sounding woman using the name "Mrs Bowers" leaves a message stating this is a call concerning your delivery charges on your "NiMo" bill.  As others have pointed out, this is a reference to the nickname for Niagara Mohawk power company, who was acquired by National Grid back in 2002!  The message leaves instructions for you to have a copy of your electric bill handy when you return the call, and gives you a reference number, which I'm guessing is the same for everyone: E007118.  Obviously a scam to likely get you to switch energy providers.  I'd urge recipients of this call to contact the FTC and report it (relatively easy to do so): https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/#&panel1-1
