Craigslist phisher named Rose Howard noted in other people's scam notes on this site.  Saying she wants to buy my camper for her father as a surprise. Wanted paypal info.  Doh!

My boyfriend is trying to sell his boat and she contacted him wanting his PayPal info text him and said she don't text well to please email her so he began email her name was rose Howard she stated she wanted it for her dad he became suspicious when she repeated everything from the text in her email..SCAM!!!!

She just texted me and said she wanted to buy my boat. she wanted me to email her she said she doesnt text well. SCAM

Texted saying doesnt text well to email her. I looked up number and found this. Texted her back and said no thanks. Your a scam artist.

This number just contacted me about my camper. rosehoward3007@hotmail.com was the email. Do these idiots not know everyone has the internet and can look them up. Despicable!

Wow.  I'm so glad I googled her (his?) number and saw all of these post.  I've never tried selling through craigslist before and probably never will again.  Every response I've had from it seems to be somebody trying to scam. I've never used paypal but that seems to be the source for being scammed.  All the previous post would almost identical to the story fed me.   I've heard a lot of good things about PayPal so I don't want to leave the impression that they are bad I just don't understand how the scam would work.  I work honestly for a living and don't try to scam others out of their honest money.  I hope this post helps others

I was contacted by this person today. I received a text message but in it she said that she is not good at texting and would like me to e mail her. I am glad I looked up this phone number and found out that she is in fact a SCAMMER. I only have one suggestion for these scammers and that is FEAR GOD because the day when you will be judged is sure to come.

Just got a text that was almost word for word what all these other posts say regarding the motorcycle I'm selling. Not the first one like this I've gotten from Craigslist add.

Craigslist scam text, trying to scam me for many thousand dollars, second time now that this has happened to me with Craigslist. Stay vigilant people!

My husband received a text from a woman posing as Abigail George wanting to buy our camper.  

Ok...kindly send me the email that link to your PayPal account, so i can proceed with the payment as soon as possible with i tranfer the money to your account..
paypal will send you a confirmation and as soon as you received it kindly let me know, so we arrange the pick up time and date.

We were selling on craigslist, my husband thought it was strange because it is an out of state phone number.  

Be careful this Christmas when trying to sell or even buy items!!

Same Story!!  She even sent me a picture of her military ID.  I "thanked" her for her service.
