This number has called 2 times today in 2 hours... each time I answer the caller hangs up!

I have had 4 calls from this number.  my caller id says education awaits.

I'm working & not supposed to pick up my cell. The caller ID showed the # here in question. They did not leave a message. Called @ 12:36pm 7/13/09

Its educationready.net. If you call them back they let you access their do not call list. Who the hell knows if it'll actually stop them from calling

Called my cell about 1:25pm EDT, and did not leave a message- great marketing plan, huh?  My cell is registered with the DNC registry (Do Not Call), and can only call to collect a debt.  I owe no money on student loans!  Definitely a bogus sales call.

Lately I've been receiving a LOT of calls from all over the nation. Numbers I don't recognize (I have that City ID deal on my phone so it lets me know what state). This number is the most recent from... New York?

have gotten them twice now, coming up just as Yonkers, NY. If it's education .net as others say here, I can't think how on earth they got my info - I don't give out my info anywhere and am on DNC list...ANNOYING!!!

Woke me up today at 8 am (I work afternoon and evening, so I was not very happy about this). Called again 3 hours later. No caller ID at all.

The prefix for my phone number is a brand new one, and I am the first one to own it. I have not ever put the number on Monster.com as I have not had anything on their site for over 5 years. I suspect they are random dialing because I am pretty sure I have not entered it anywhere.

I also have been getting these odd calls from all over the place 215-847-2372, 423-586-1525. I worry that this is part of some brand new hell that telemarketers have figured out to bestow on us and this is just the beginning.

At 5 pm on Tuesday, 7/14/09 I received a call from 914-339-5531 and did not receive a response to my pickup and whoever it was hung up.  They are getting shrewd because they know people have called ID so they are listing the number. How can they be stopped.  I guess they get paid for every time someone picks up the phone or verifies an active number.  I think these kind of calls are getting ridiculous.  I've got better things to do than receive these annoying calls.

I received two calls today as well.  Thanks for the help.  I will not be calling back, nor will I be answering it!
