- PittThese people have called every day for the past week. I tried to answer but no one is ever there. Caller ID just says "White Plains, NY".

That's it. They say it will be removed within 30 days. - NancyWe are on the NO SOLICATION Call list but keep getting repeated calls from 914-363-0400 - when I actually spoke with a real person she hung up on me when I asked to be removed from the list. It shows this is the March of Dimes. I am so utterly annoyed with them at this point. They call mornings, afternoons, early evenings...

- Ellen replies to Donaly| 2 repliesThese calls really are from March of Dimes telemarketers. To stop the calls, you can also go to the web site (http://marchofdimes.com) and click Contact Us (at the very bottom). Email them a nice note asking them to stop calling your number. I got a very polite note back the following day, and the calls stopped immediately.
- sherryThis was the March of Dimes. The person said she wasn't asking for a donation. When I immediately told her to take us off her list, and not to call us any more, she wanted to push. ("Don't you like the March of Dimes?") I asked her if she understood what I'd just told her (don't call me any more). She said she understood, but then tried to keep me on the phone. I said goodbye and hung up. We're on the do not call list. I know non-profits are exempt, but when I ask to be taken off their list and I ask them not to call, I don't appreciate an argument.

- Ron MeersCalls at different times. Hangs up when I pick up. About to take them completely off my donation list!!!

- Death Wish| 3 repliesI got a call from the same organization over 10 time in a 2 week span. Someone finally called me at 9:28pm and I was polite and got all of her information. I then looked her up and got her Home address and told her to stop calling or I'll call her Home address at all hours of the night. :) Its now 3 weeks later and no calls. :)

- Prez replies to GregMarch of Dimes optout
If you can not call back like me, because you have no long distance service:
http://www.marchofdimes.com/aboutus/17879.asp - Prez replies to EllenI tried that but did not get a note back informing me that my request to be removed was honored. Instead, 8 days later I got a 'December 2008 March of Dimes eNewsletter' subscription, which pissed me off even more. I quickly sent back a unsubscribe email to their included unsubscribe address. Now to see if I'm totally rid of them.

My original note: I can not reach your telephone opt-out service via phone due to not having long distance service.
I would appreciate it if you could manually remove my number (***-***-****) from your list.
Thanks

I didn't give them my name or address to ensure they could not further collect data about me and 'magically' start sending me mailers, etc. My number alone should be enough. Waiting to see if this did the trick. - No more donationsI used to donate to March of Dimes, but because of their overy aggressive phone calls,
I will NEVER donate to them again.
March Of Dimes, I know you don't care, but you've lost a benefactor.- Caller: March of Dimes

- John WestenbergerMarch of Dimes will not stop calling.
They need to be investigated. Their system that is suppose to remove your number is a fraud.
After you punch in your number to have it removed from their system it reads back a crazy set of numbers.
30 calls in 25 days...they will never get a "dime" from me again. I have donated in the past but they are finished with me. They won't answer their phones or take calls themselves. This is an organization that need to be investigated by the media. 914 984-2931 is the March of Dimes nightmare number that is calling me.- Caller: March of Dimes

- KG replies to mbailey| 1 replyThank you so much M. Bailey for your post, was looking through the Internet for an effective way to get MOD to stop harassing my family (they have been calling once/twice a day everyday even though we indicated we are not interested), and your method is the best for getting this annoying organization to stop calling- in the past, my blocking their call numbers was not working, since MOD keep changing their numbers on purpose so that we cannot block their phone calls. My condolences to all here on the comments section who have been harassed by MOD.

- AndreaMy elderly dad who is hard of hearing has been receiving calls anywhere from 7:30 AM till 7 PM at night! He is was getting so frustrated so called the number to see who it was and it was the March of Dimes. Because of the inconsideration of how early they call, how many times they call, and the fact that they hear that the person on the other end can't hear well yet keep calling, I will refuse to EVER send them money and have instructed my dad not to do so either.
