Left a vm about arrest warrants pending and to call back ASAP

I received a call from this number and let it go to voicemail. Voicemail stated "This is a final notice from the IRS. The IRS is filing a lawsuit against you." Ect. I called the number back and greeted the person on the phone with "Hi this in Noah with the Hawaii State Tax department" (My actual job). Person on call became irritated and told me to suck his ****. Pro Tip: Don't do an IRS phishing scam with someone who works in taxes.

Haha way to go Noah! I got the same call. Glad to hear it was a stupid scam and you got to them.

Got a call that only recorded part of the message.  Said there are 4 severe allegations against me and if I did not call back, the local cops would arrest me.

I got this call too!

This number calls me frequently about taxes and a weird guy claims I contact a routing number and not a company. I told the weird Indian guy to stop calling my number because I am American and don't want the crazy foreigner to ever harass me again. I am disabled and want this number to STOP harassing me PERIOD.

Got 2 Robo Calls from 914-373-7685 today per caller id, " This is Your Final Notice from IRS. Local police will be arresting you, call back within 24 hours, ... " I'm tempted to go by local our IRS Office, a 5 State Regional Procession Center and call them back. Or the local Secret Service Office. Maybe the Local Homeland Security Offices, or even the Mexican Consulate. As a teleco employee, I've done work in all of these offices...

Yep got the same.. love the robotic voice and stated I would be "taken under custody by the local cops" ... hahaha cops? too funny

Went straight to voicemail (I already have this number blocked). They used to call about how I owe the IRS, (by the way, the IRS will NEVER call you). Now, they've changed it to say that if I don't call back about this, they will take me under custody by local cops. First of all, even police officers don't use the word "cop". So, verbage is just as fake as the rest. Please block and delete any messages you get from that number or any other numbers or messages pertaining to these things.

I got the call from this number too, and I knew that these guys are from India from my native land.  It sucks to receive that call, I blasted them, and the guys says I am taking American's money why are you bothered, such a sick attitude, apologies from my side.  I told him that I am recording the call and it will be given to the local police  and Indian government for further action, he shut the phone.

My daughter received a call today from this number and they left a voicemail, stating they were IRS and she had 4 allegations against her and if she didn't call back she would be arrested. She called them back and they proceeded to tell her she owed $4000. (They had a foreign accent but had normal everyday name, Jason Brown) They said she could not disconnect the call or they would get a warrant for her arrest and she would be arrested in 24 hours. They hung up on her twice and she called back but they blamed her for the disconnection. They told her they would make payment arrangements to pay the balance and asked her how much money she had in her bank account. They then proceeded to give her directions to go make a payment to someone by another name in person!! I am livid at this because she could have been killed!! I hate scammers and this is the worst. I made her report this to IRS and FTC. I recommend everyone who is scammed by the "IRS" to report this!! Someone could get hurt as well as lose money. Here are the links. Report to both!!

I received a voicemail about 4 warrants that will be issued against me if I do not call back immediately. I have not called back and reported them as IRS tax fraud.

got the same robot recording as everyone else.  I called them back and they kept hanging up on me, I called at least 5 times, finally they didn't hang up.  I told the East Indian man who answered the phone that I knew he was a scam and to stop calling me.  His response was "I know you are a scam, why are you scamming me?"  I told him he was a loser and hung up on him.

Same thing.  Robotic voice telling me I am going to get arrested.  What an evil way to scam someone!

I've gotten calls from these folks like 5 times in the past month.  This is the call back # they use.

We a notification  We have just received a notification regarding your tax filings from the headquarters which will get expired in the next 24 working hours and once it get expired after that you will be taken under custody of the local cops. SCAM!!!.. improper  grammar and "local cops" are a huge red flags!!!!
