caller rang phone 4 times and left no message

Calls and when I answer they hang up. Says: Scarburough Res  941-379-1934

Called about 8pm.  Let answer machine get it. Sounded  like a mid-eastern accent.  Message said from Scarborough Research, doing survey about TV viewing and internet usage.  Said they were not selling anything,  I picked up at that point and told him I was on do not call list and to remove my number from their data base.

DNC does not apply to surveyss -- however, if you ask them to remove your number, they're supposed to it.

They call me every day around 8-9P.M. I ask them to stop calling, but they never did

They called me at almost 10pm!  Scared the heck outta me since my mother lives in a nursing home.  They are not supposed to call past 9pm.

There are a number of scams that involve calling people late in order to scare them into thinking its an emergency. The hope is that people will automatically answer the phone without looking at or questioning the caller id.
It is a rather sick game these operations play. It happened to my mom with at least one number. The one I can recall called her after 2:00 am.

Received call at 7:30 pm, my answering machine recorded a laughing sound.  Called ID showed Scarborough.

dude called something about scarbourough surveys, he said about 4 words then I hung up on it. when ever I answer any phones where I dnt recognize the number I always say, "this is the man of the house", I never give any part of my name and I never give out any private information including address, age social security number and no credit card information..keeps me safe..called around 9 pm.

received this call last night at 9:18pm. Not anyone on the line.  Very upsetting to get a call this late.

Received a call October 27 at 8:15pm.  They hung up after message.

Received a call Saturday January 30 at 2:51 pm. Caller wanted me to participate in a TV, radio and internet use survey. I declined.

Just blocked this number.

Called at 9:54 PM Wisconsin time. I answered because It scared me to death I didn't see the number. I told her " Do you realize it is 10 pm and you are not allowed to call after 9 p.m. SO please take me off your list and DO NOT CALL AGAIN." Her response was " how rude" excuse me?? I said please!! They are rude for calling so late. Claim they were not selling anything!

I didn't answer.  They left a message saying "Oh crap" and hung up.

We do n0t pick up unknown callers  and it is now harrissing  we have an inifirmed
living here and too bad the powers  that be  cannot stop these callers.
