- JoshuaJust received this call with the ID of 'Customer Care'. I didn't answer but did the quick hangup after 2 rings which mimics call blocking. Hopefully they won't call back. I'm betting it's 'Cardholder Services'. It's incredible how many fake caller ID's they've used in the past years.

The call started out with a recording from the Pain Management Solution, please press 1 to be connect with our pain management counselor. I pressed 1, still not sure what this call was about. A person then came on the line and stated he was from Pain Management Solution and that there was an alternate way to manage my pain than taking medicines. I stopped him from talking and asked how he received my phone number and he replied through my insurance, but couldn't tell me what insurance that was. At this point I told him that I would not continue the phone call as I do not believe he was from the insurance at all. I wished him a good afternoon and hung up.- Caller: Pain Management Solutions

In our newspaper the other day this issue of robo calls and telemarketers and spam phone calls was addressed by a reporter. It was suggested we all go to this link and sign the petition to protect our cell and house phones from the junk. Consumers Union the outfit behind Consumer Reports is allowing you to place a complaint against those huge phone companies and cell carriers who are not actively doing anything about this plus only having limited number blocking capabilities. Consumers Union says if enough people complain and sign the petition they can certainly bring it to the attention of those companies we pay....to do something about it. I signed up and can't think of a better place than to get the word out, please copy the link, sign up and pass it along every chance you get.

- esocaller had automated message caller id says so many veterans are killing themselves via suicide 65 per minute, press one to speak to a representtive, i press 1 , woman ansers and i ask her to take my name off the calling list, immediately she says have a nice day and hangs up, which is in line with the card member services calls as well as other scammers i do believe we have a wide reaching scam posing as different business, i think they are hiring people to work phone banks and i strongly feel that the government should investigate it, we have homeland security and the federal communications boardd as well as the national do not call registery, how many times have you noticed that a person with an indian accent will answer even cuss you if you demand they stop calling, remember the irs scam, maybe we should do less out sourcing of our work to other countries and hire the people of all nations and cultures who live right here and will built our economy, what do you think ?
