they are telemarketers - they don't even listen when they call because they keep getting my voicemail and start talking like there is someone on the line even though my message clearly states it is my voicemail, then when they realize no one is responding, they hang up.  they called non-stop for a few days last week, then thankfully took a break over the weekend, but now, Tuesday morning they are starting up again.

Man with Indian accent claims to be from computer maintenance co. calling about my Windows computer. Not the first time!

They said that my computer had downloaded junk files to them and they wanted to fix it for me by taking control of my computer. The nearly unintelligible accent would walk me through the process. They were clearly overseas, but when I asked where they were located and a phone where I could call back, he said "Washington State" and then gave an overseas nuber.

Calling every evening for over a week, though there's never anyone on the line when I answer. So disgusting!

This is a scam. Called about the computer I was using. Said I wasn't using a computer, so he starting telling me how he was going to $&@$ my wife and daughter. Clearly a SCAM.

guy called I asked who is this he started telling me I had germs getting in my computer so I told him not to call here anymore and called him a dumb ass then hung up phone ,,,,,,,,,,,He called me back cursing me so I let loose with some more nice things then hung up again and called our phone co,,,People watch out for this ???? person

On DNC list, again!  Still receiving calls from this # anyway.  Appears to be a telemarketer we have no desire to have call us.  Rather doubtful they're legit?!

Got a call from this number with a woman asking me to give her access to my computer because she saw we had downloaded viruses and bad files, ending up hanging up. Is there anyway to get these calls stopped or figure out what it is?

I got a call from this number today.  Told them I knew it was a scam and I was going to report him/number to the FBI.  He hung up real quick.  Lol, we'll see if he calls back again.

Said He Was from computer Repair Microsoft information Systems said that MY computer is sending virus's. I asked for the Mac Address ...  LOL.  Does not know ... I asked IP Address and he could not answer!!!!  I asked what Email he was using so I could Return an Email to verify.   LOL.   He Denied and Hung UP, I ONLY ASKED HIS EMAIL ADDRESS!!!!!!! LOL!!!   This joker made no sense. SCAM.  I guess he was smart enough ... so he didn't get SPAMMED BACK!!!!!!!!  DOH!   lol  Hey I have a free phone number from a free app  maybe I can call him back a few thousand times!  Let's All Call Him back with fictional numbers! LOL

Cuss him out, make death threats to him and his family, cuss out Allah, and Mohammed, and tell him you are going to force feed him raw pork and beef, for payback for Benghazi.  Make sure you say you are going to strap Susan Rice to a missile to nuke them.  Record the call, tell them you are recording it and post it on You Tube!

Hilarious. The heavily-accented guy called to tell me that he “was the authorized dealer for Windows PC” and asked me to get in front of my computer so he can show me how to “identify viruses”. I played along until he wanted me to go to a specific website (obvious malware). I then told him I had an Apple Mac.  Click!

(In East-Indian accent) “I am the authorized dealer for Windows PC. Please go to your computer to identify problems.”

Me: Who are you?

“I am the authorized dealer for Windows PC. Please go to your computer to identify problems.”

Me:  You are from Microsoft?

“I am the authorized dealer for Windows PC. Please go to your computer to identify problems.”

Me: Oh, OK.

“Please go to your computer to identify problems.”

Me:  What problems?

“We have identified viruses on your computer”

Me:  What’s a virus?  

“Please go to your computer now”

Me: Oh, sure. What for?

She said something was wrong with our windows computer-we did have one 2 years ago- now have apple.
She was trying to tell me how to fix it. Some scam?

Vonage Holdings.  I never heard of them.

Getting spam calls from this number about phony computer problems just like the other posting reports.

Here's a tip on one way to handle these calls. Like with the other spam callers, I'll just add this number to my phone's contact list and click the "send straight to voice mail" option.  After a few days, they must realize we're never going to answer and the calls stop.  My contact list name for these always begins with "Spam" so that they're all in one place on the list and my caller ID shows that accordingly.  Guess I'll name this one Spam Computer.  Last one was Spam Alarm Company.

That is terrible advice, and I would hope no one will follow it. You do understand that making death threats over the phone is a crime ?

I understand the calls are obnoxious, but there are better ways to go about stopping them. Like ignoring calls from numbers you don't recognize. If it's important, they'll leave a message.

That's Vonage, there are a POS.  I used to have Vonage.  One could sue Vonage for aiding and abetting fraud.

There CSRs are from [***] same place the scammers are.

Vonage sucks.
