this is a call rerouted from a va prison through el paso tx... it's global tel-link. so, if you are expecting a call from the slammer... take it!

priz wife - why did you post the number here if you were sure it's legit?  You go around the web posting numbers all the time to let people know they are legit?

To those interested:
  Received a call from same number (915-613-5873) having same dynamics/ details. The new twist is getting a call from a woman in my city of residence telling me that her new phone company (Frontier) assigned her my actual phone number! It's a number I've had--without any number duplication--for nearly 10 years! The woman, who used the name "Camille," said she had given the (now shared)number to her husband--a prisoner at Attica State Prison in Attica, NY. Unbelievable!
  I guess it goes without saying that I'm concerned about the calls and what the "end game" is all about. What are they after? And, a better question is what can be done to stop the harrassment permanently? My phone service provider had no immediate answers--only that I would be getting a call within the next 24 hours with a status report.
  The fella I spoke with seemed perplexed, but felt certain there wasn't any way that a competing local phone companyh would be able to assign my well established phone number to a new customer. Any help or assistance out there...?

I got 7 voicemails from this number on my extra phone line that I never use anymore, and I just decided to turn it on to see if I had voicemails. Its a woman, but the only thing she says is "Nine, six". Ha, super weird! It kinda sounds like she might have said eight before that, but the message only catches the "t" sound. Anyway, there is a thing on google I typed in called reverse phone book where you type in the phone number and it says there's a full report available, but I don't wanna pay $39.95 for it!! Lol

I just got a partial message from this number, and have been trying to figure out what it's about and why? Only part of the message was recorded, but it mentioned GlobalTel Link..have no idea why THEY would need to call ME, although I have a friend in prison who has to call me COLLECT through GlobalTel Link.  Unless someone out there can tell me why I should answer this call, I'm going to ignore it.

Prison systems now allow inmates to make calls to cell phones through Global Tel Link, since very few people keep landlines anymore. If you have a loved one behind bars that might be trying to contact you, answer it. If not, don't...seems pretty simple to me...

Its most likely telling you that you need to put money on your account! Its a recording that tells you that your funds are running low and that you need to make a payment or that you are over your balance limit!

i filed a police report and the officer gave me a contact name/number at GTL:  Contact Margaret Phillips in tech support at 800-489-4500 ex 2226. You may also call a Miss Witherspoon at 800-489-4500 ex 2280. If people here can determine it's GTL then so should they.

Got call & the voicemail that was left is from Global Tel Link ". . .advising of a new change in billing procedures, etc"

actually...do not take a call from this number...it is a scam...someone is using your number and if you accept the call all it will do is charge your phone number...DON'T ACCEPT IT unless you really know who it is at the other end...

This number is for Global Tel Link.  If you have a loved one in prison, they may be trying to contact you.  However, that being said, if you are EVER instructed to dial *72 before any number, don't do it! You would be forwarding your number to another number which is what I suspect happened to "Harry Cheerios".

this number has called me 11 times in 2 months!!

i don't know anyone in a correctional facility.  stop asking me if i want to set up a prepaid account or whatever to accept collect calls!

got a call from this number and it was a reminder to pay my bill and my number is blocked until i due...they arent messing around with their $14!  lol i got a credit limit of $100 so wtf?  oh well its paid, no wonder my husband hasnt called lol he's gonna be pissed

omg im like wtf??..i know who is calling me i want 2 answer but im not about 2 pay for it and where is this prison again because this is my ex and hes calling me and im like wtf [***]...now your in prison??...i thought he was in jail untill febuary i guess he will be getting out then or maybe got an even longer sentence but either way hoe else can i pay instead of using a credit card??

got a call from this number just 10 min ago.  I saw the area code was a strange number, so I didn't pick up. wtf!

I just got a call from this number, I know a couple people in prison but not from el paso tx, so i have no idea who it could be?? do u think it could be from another prison not in el paso??
