this is a collection agency. they call early, ask for some person and leave an account number. DELETE

Collection agencies have to, by law, take you off their calling list when asked to do so. If you do not owe any debts, especially to that certain company, call them back and tell them to take you off their list.

If they dont, call them again and polietly tell them you asked them to be put on the DNC list and if they keep calling you will report them.

A lady from this number called and asked for a person by the name of Carol and then my last name.  There is no such person in our household with the name Carol.  She said thank you and hung up.

I got a phone call from this number and the woman immediately rattled off the name and address of a guy and asked if this person lives near me. The name was something like Tom Cochran and the address was a long 4 or 5 blocks away. I called the number back and it was a collection agency trying to get me to spy or leave a message for someone I don't even know. We had a very heated exchange and the woman kept saying it was legal and not harrassment for them to call me to try to find the person they were trying to collect from. She couldn't even take me off their list since I wasn't sure about the exact name of the person they were looking for. Have we no recourse?

I have an unlisted phone ### and dont want her to call back.

Received second call today from this number looking for a Diane W.  I said to this gentleman that there is no such person by this name at this number and to please remove number from their contact list, as I had requested before.  Gentleman said thanks and hung up.

Collections trying to find anyone that will talk to them. They are slime!!

they called my cell phone and left a voicemail but when i checked it, it was just dead air for 30 seconds.

I have no idea why these people are calling me and I can't seem to get them to stop.

These people are calling my 12 y/o daughter's number.  When she answers her phone they say, "OH!" and hang up.  They will not answer when I try to call back and have them quit calling her. Did she get a dud's phone number when we got her the phone?

My Thirteen year old daughter answered the phone and was asked for some Dawn whom of course does not live here. They had my last name and asked her if anyone with that last name lived here. My daughter said yes and gave them my first name. They than said thank you and hung up. I owe no collections. Sounds shady to me........

These people call 6 -7 times a day asking for a marylou somebody, who is NOT me. I have told them several times that there is no one here by that name, they just keep calling!! Sometimes they leave a message, sometimes they dont..Most of the time now I just don;t answer. I have had my number for almost 3 years and in the past 6 months I have recieved a ton of calls for this certain Marylou...  HELP!!

They keep calling my number and it is driving me crazy. What can I do? Someone please help me. If I dont get any help I am going to end up in a crazy insaine asilym in a straight jacket. :-(

to the debt collectors: I have NO money. NO job means I can't pay you! At this point my credit rating is under 300. There is NO repairing that. AND guess what??? now all the companies I have been appling to are telling me they check credit history. HA HA HA HA! I'm sure they take one look at that and see that my credit was great before the economy took a nosedive and me without a parachute is about to hit the ground!

Geez... how am I ever supposed to dig out of this finacial hole when my crappy credit rating is preventing me from getting a job?

I subject calling himself Anthony asked for me to leave my neighbor a note concerning a personal matter.  He gave a number of 915-771-9878 to call back.  Slim ball.

Got a call from 915-781-0407 this morning.  Didn't answer since I haven't given anyone except my hubby my cell phone number. Caller ID was "No Name", location Texas.

I am tired of this lady Bertha calling me!!!!!!!!!! StopppppppppPPPP
