We did not answer, they left no msg.

I keep receiving calls originating from this number ( according to caller ID)
(916) 209-4066 and it displays as unassigned .
There is nobody speaking when I pick it up and I get the "hang up" signal.
If I call back I get a busy signal or no signal.
I am on the DNC list

Caller ID "Unassigned".  Did not use the prompts to bypass my call screening device.

The caller, Lincoln CA ( displayed as ID on our phone ,). We were not home. I returned the call hiding my number, 1st a soft lady message said: "  The service is not available. " and cut me off. I called for 3 more times, before phone ring, I was cut of on other end.
According www.800notes.com above. Some one started using this unwanted to call people randomly since 07.29.2015.
This is not unassigned number.

Asked for me by an unlisted name, so they're obviously getting their list from somewhere other than the directory. Identified themselves as "Go Solar."

Received several calls, left no message, just hung up. Tired of getting these anonymous calls.

They called my mother's phone number, which I stopped using 21 years ago. They said it was a "courtesy call", whatever that means.

"Hi this is Chris, we have some programs we are offering in your area."
Live call, not robo.

Recvd call from this number, caller ID said Lincoln, CA, don't know anyone CA, didn't p/u & no message left.

I answered. Immediate hang up.

One of these post stated info given from caller as Go Solar. Solar installer I think from Home Depot. We've used Home Depot for other installations so maybe they share phone numbers and some info. Just a thought. But am guessing at this info.

Called this evening at 5.45.  Caller ID says "Do Not Answer"-couldn't think of a better name since I had no intention of answering another unwanted call

They called and the caller id says do not answer so I tried to call back and it didn't ring tried several times with same result

This number has called a number of times over the last few days. no message is ever left. The odd thing is that caller ID shows Do Not Answer

My phone is as annoyed as we are with these types of calls. It listed the caller ID, as 3 previous posts stated, in all caps, DO NOT ANSWER! Hahaha love that our phone is looking out for us! We never answer or return these calls.
