- Derek KullmanThat [removed:lang] got me! Gave hime $190 for a FDIC and suposedly the loan amount of $5000 was too much to be deposited! Knew it was a scam when I got a call from his number and suposedly it was someone from my bank saying my deposit was denied bc of previous fraud situations since 9/11! I called it back and who other than Robert costin answered the phone! I said... Thought this was the number from which my bank contacted me? He says... It was someone from their financial department who contacted me. I should've went with my first instinct and never sent him the money! I could kick myself for falling for it! Dammit boy!!!! One rule I live by, never EVER do business over the phone! Get it in writing if it sounds right, and mail them a money order to the exact address on headline letter. Never EVER provide bank account info, or credit card info over the phone.
My last rule is, if you can't speak clear English, I'm not going to talk to you!- Caller: Scammers

- LarryDO NOT ACCEPT CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER - THIS IS NOT A LEGITIMATE LOAN OFFER
Calls from an organized crime ring posing as legitimate lenders such as Lending Club, Wells Fargo or other well known financial services companies. They will claim that you have been approved for a loan with very attractive terms, and simply need to provide a prepaid debit card to receive your funds. However, they will then steal the funds you have deposited on the card without any intention of ever providing you with a loan.

- Jennifer medeiros| 1 replyThis person has all my info and locked me out of everything
- Caller: Lending club
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- MikeHuntleton replies to Jennifer medeirosNot sure what that is supposed to mean, but I doubt anyone can 'lock a person out' of everything. Now if you mean someone has stolen your Identity, then filing a Police report is the 1st step you need to take, followed by reporting it to credit agencies, as well as the FTC.
