Received a call no one there, called back and got a woman on the phone who asked if I was holding for card services I told her no.  I told her that I didn’t want to receive calls from them and that I was on the do not call list.  She told me that was my business and I hung up.  5 minutes later I received a recorded call from a woman stating her name was Rachel.  Hung up again.  These people call several times a month and I’m tired of it.

Responded in this manner before they could answer; "If you do not have a name, do not call, if you do have a name and I don't wish to talk to you I will hang up."

They are calling several times a day , all day, doesn't matter what time it is. Never leaves a message and if you call it back all it says is that the person you have called is unavailable

I can't stand these people. They change numbers every so often. 916-240-6640 is their newest one. I tell these people to stop all the time. I tell them they have the wrong number and everything. They are usually nice and put a note in the computer to remove me from their list. Yet what happens? I get stinking phone calls from the people again. Just not the exact same person, its usually someone different.

Even when they find out they have the wrong number some of them will still try to sell me drugs. Something like 30 Vicoden pills for $400 and stupid stuff like that. They could care less if they bug you or not either. After all, its the computers doing the dialing and everything. All they have to do is answer when someone decides to pick up. It gets old....

I do one of two things when I see this type of caller in my caller ID - I lift the receiver immediately and hang it right back up. I DON'T want to be disturbed by 4 rings of a nuisance call in MY house. Or, if I'm feeling mischievous, I'll pick up and not talk. I just put the receiver down and off the hook and walk away.  :-)

This is also from Verizon Wireless...  I left a cell company to go to Verizon Wireless.. I could not get service at my house.. They offered to sell me a computer piece so I could get it.. I left them to go to T-Mobile..  Ths was in 10 days...... well in the 30 day period to quit.  But they said they could not stop the account, because I took my number with me untill it "booted" back to the... This made the time 33 days... ( now they want penalties for each line)  So funny.. when I left the first company they were able to inact the number right then.. Sorry no money for nothing... Verizon you are garbage.

I have tried to get these people to quit calling me.  They want to lower my credit card interest rate.  When I respond to tell them I pay my credit cards off each month and to stop calling me they hang up on me.  When I try to redial them they are unavailable to take my call.  How do I get rid of them?

Get calls from this number at least 2x per day.  They claim that they are calling in regards to my current credit card and that I can reduce my rate.  They also ALWAYS state that it is my last chance - if only!  Anyway, to "reduce my rate" I am supposed to hit 1 on my dial pad so I did.  Women answered and asked if I wanted to reduce my rate - I told her I wanted to know what company she represents and she hung up.

I knew it was not legit - do not have any credit cards - just watned to see what would happen.  Annoying calls but hopefully they will go away soon.

Do not engage these people. Do not talk to them. Pick up the phone and call the Federal Trade Commission and report the phone number immediately. The FTC is on their trail. Here is the FTC number: (877) 382-4357. Then call the FCC and your state Attorney General's office and report the number as well. The FTC, FCC, and every Attorney General is on their trail. They will catch them soon.
