Received phone call didn't recognize number so I let it go to vm. Didn't leave a message so it must not have been important or just another scam. I'll wait for more response's  before I block it.

Wait a minute the last post before mine was at approximately 6:15 am. Must be scam who calls from Sacramento that early?

You didn't miss a damn thing.  I answered the call because I thought it was a friend.  After a short delay, some pro came on the line with something like:  "Good afternoon.  This is Ed Gordon calling for the California Fraternal Order of Police..."  I tried to interrupt his pitch, but finally just talked over him to say "Don't call again" and hung up.  Probably quasi-legitimate.  By that I mean some police organization somewhere may get five or ten percent of what they collect.  That's how they stay marginally legal.  Anyway, it's just a bunch of crooks.  Don't worry about it.  Caller I.D. says "Fair Oaks CA".

I have the same response as "jeep" same exact situation.

called and left no message. caller id read "out of area"

Keep calling I didn't answer but it annoying

Pretty much the same as Lizz and Sharon except my IDer said:  "Fair Oaks CA"

Wasn't home and no message.  Looked them up here on this wonderful and helpful site (thank you whoever you are) and found these reports...
