I received a call to my cell phone from 916-251-9887.  I do not recognize this number.  

I received a call from 916 251-9887. I returned the call and a person with a very thick accent was saying something unintelligible. I do not recognize the number and it appears to be a solicitor of some sort

Yeah Indian guy muttering something uninteligible.

I received a call from this number but didn't answer. I called back and received a vm that I couldn't understand.

They are offering free energy audits I asked to be taked of their list they hung up on me I called back and its a voicemail of a thick accented indian man that you can not understand

Got a call from this number. They did not leave a message. Don't plan on trying to call them back.

Robo call from something to do with public utilities and doing an energy audit to take advantage of PG&E and other rebates that "will expire soon". I do not know who this company is and have never had a business relationship with them, and I am on all Do-Not-Call lists.

I have been getting random calls from this number many time over the past few months and it's annoying because whoever it is and whatever they do, they have no business cold calling me or anyone else.  Damn phone poachers......

No VM left. . . Since it was 916, I thought it might be a govt. agency so I called back before checking here.  Got a voicemail with a voicemail message I couldn't understand.  Blocked this number.  

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

receive call on cell phone from this number, since 916 called back go thick accent voicemail.  I hung up and checked here.

I got a missed call from this number.  I do not call back numbers that are unknown to me.  I checked this website and learned the call was from a solicitor.  Thanks!

We did not answer as we are on the D N C list

I get numerous calls from these jerks each day.  Normally I do not answer because I do not recognize the number and they get my message that clearly states that I will not answer calls that don't identify themselves.  They hang up and leave no message.  Today I accidentally answered it in the morning as I was waiting for a call from a doctor.  I said hello and I got an unintelligible person with a heavy accent speaking another language or something.  I spoke back in gibberish to him and he laughed and hung up on me.

four hours later I got another call from them, I didn't answer and they left no message.  I don't know if they are just some clowns that don't speak english, pranksters or just plan [***] (i am thinking the latter two).  Just wish they would stop calling.
