My brother received a call from someone from this number today. It was a woman who was very threatening on the other end and she asked for him by name and then immediately started screaming about he had committed 'fraud' and she would file criminal charges on him for writing 'bad checks'. Only problem is my brother who is in his 40's has never ever had checks or written a check. He demanded to know the name of her company and she refused. He asked to speak to a manager and she refused. Finally he had enough and he told her she 'sounded like a fraud'.

She said something about talking to her manager and suddenly hung up. Strange call. I told him to block the number. We believe this was an extortion attempt of some sort, especially since she would not give the name of the company she supposedly works for and she suddenly ended the call when he told her he had never written a check.

Also I see where there have been phone scams reported against this number after checking so that raises another red flag.

Other sites have reported scams from this number.  Number leads to someone by the name of "Nathaniel White".  I doubt if that's his real name but it appears on other sites as acting like  a rabid debt collector.  Ignore this guy and his friends and block the calls.  Also , let him know this is a scam and that you KNOW it's a scam.  Block his calls.
