called leaving no message

This number has been calling my phone for the last couple of days. Rings twice and hangs up. How the hell do they have my number and why do they keep calling 5 times a day its beyond annoying!!!!!!

Call from them about 2 hrs ago. Missed it, but no vm.

My wife received a call from these scum at my home.  They are apparently trying to sell auto loans for people with poor credit.  A "Charles Peterson" (odd name for a Pakistani/Indian/whatever) told her my credit would be affected if my 'application' was rejected.

Apparently, their background check didn't reveal that I am not only NOT looking for an auto loan, but I am a bankruptcy lawyer.  I will do what I can to burn these people down ...

don't know who this is

Thanks to previous posters for the information.. I received a 2nd call moments ago from this number on my cell phone.. Like everyone here has stated, there was no voicemail left.  How do these people get our numbers like that, and why are they calling especially when my number is listed on the DO NO CALL REGISTRY.. Any recourse??

I was looking for cars online recently and I'm thinking that is how they somehow got my number.  I have put my information online before (filling out a loan app) and got similar calls.  Someone with thick Indian accent but has very American name like "John Smith". Don't give them any of your information.  It's a scam!

Just missed a call from them (I wouldn't say I really "missed" it tho). They left no vm, of course. I am thinking Cant Scam ME is right....I filled out some info a while back online looking at cars. That would explain why they called my cell and not home number.

This guy is a complete jerk.  I have blocked at least ten numbers from this guy.. Have no idea what to do. Would love to see this guy in jail for extreme harassment! Any suggestions?

Wish these damn scammers would stop harassing me.  They call several times a day and never leave a message.

They have called me 9 times in 2 days.  They asked for Sharita someone.  I have told them repeatedly they have the wrong number.  Do not call it again.  A month goes by and they call me again.  Some PLEASE stop them.

this number has called my cell 14 times today!  How can this be stopped.  NO CALL REGISTER is a joke.  I even have my home number private, unlisted and they have found it and are harassing my 88 year o mother  She hung uo on them and they kept calling back, continousy.  STOP STOP STOP!!

They could care less what you do,they bought your info,from someone like facebook.they dont do background checks,they just dial numbers looking for the one poor slob to give up a bank account number.

Any luck yet?  I was think of us all pooling around 3K$'s and I will go there and take care of it.  We need a PI to get the vitals and then I fly to New Delhi and pay some local thugs to do the dirty.  i will video the whole thing for proof.
