They called my cell phone. Left message (very rudely) saying that they want me or my attorney to call back and not to ignore the message. Well I called back, rang 5x, no answer. Call is from somewhere in Sacramento, CA.

Called my landline twice today.  First time, left message on my machine, very hard to hear and understand, but I heard "urgent".  When I called back no answer.  Second time, I answered, recorded message claims they are from the IRS.

Called this number because this number has been calling me three times a day. Then someone answered the phone and told he is from the IRS. He transmitted me to the general officer, whose voice was the same as the first person who answered the phone. Told me that me that my name have been reported to the police officer for back pay from the IRS. Told me that I do not even know English.
I got this sucker. Screemed at him that he is a scammer/scummer, an SOB and I will report him to the police and the police will get him and he will be reported to the IRS tomorrow in Fresno.

Please report them to the cops or FBI this not the IRS it is a scam. I got a call from the same number first it was computer voice saying it was my final notice and to call the number back if I didn't I will go to jail yea right. I called talk a person he gave me all the fake details saying I owe 4500 and I broke 4 rules and will go to jail if I don't pay them in 1 hour and than he passed the phone to a Indian man saying he was a officer and a warrant will be out for me in 1 hour if I don't pay read a fake badge Number fake IRS case number asked if I had a lawyer and told me to stay on the phone with him and I can tell nobody these scammers are looking for people they can make cry and make them afraid and pay them. Please always tell some one about this scam I get these calls a lot now the guy said nobody reports them and they will not trace them and laughed like it is a joke. This can be a your mother sister, brother, father, aunt, uncle, getting scammed it is very sad .

Most of these calls are coming from India and Pakistan.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
