He actually didn't if you looked at the end of his message he said SCAMMERS.

Got a call today. Left no message.  

So called it back, and it identified itself as "Reward Redemption." It said I signed up with one of their affiliate websites and had a redeemable card for me.  I pressed 2 to be removed from their list.

What the scammer really means is:

Press 1 to add your number to the "it is a live one" list we sell to other scammers.
Press 2 to yell at somebody who may not understand you.
Press 3 to verify you are a human, and answered your phone.
Press 4 if you enjoy getting unwanted phone calls.  We aim to please.
Press 5 if you have a dial-type phone instead of a pushbutton phone.
Press 6 to learn how to send us money by green dot or other untraceable means.
Press 7 if you want us to call you at 7 AM ... or, some other, inconvenient time.
Press 8 if you like the sound of that tone
Press 9 if you are still on the line.
Press 0 to hear this message again

So just because he knows that they are scammers now doesn't mean he didn't fall for it...

Called my cell on 8/11/2014 at approx 2:30 PM.  Rang a few times... wasn't even long enough for voicemail to pick up.  Annoying.

They called me know, hahaha the guy was offering a 50 dlls gift card for Walmart and 50 for target, the dude first was like let me verify your address and blah blah blah so i gave him my old address and when we reached the moment he asked me for the credit card to "cover the shipping of the gift card" I start giving him an invalid number and the guy right away notice that the card was not a real one, he told me that visa cards start with 4 and the start numbers of others as AMEX, MASTER, DISCOVER ETC, watch out for these guys, for some how they got your information and they dounds to be pretty friendly.

Call was received 8/22/14 9.30 am

Got a call at 2-something today.  Called it back and it was an automated caller, so I hung up.  Thanks for this thread - kept me from making a 'mistake.'

Got a call a few minutes ago from this number . Glad I didn't answer it. No message left.

Yea nice try with this one.. promise a gift card if I fall into their little trap. LAME.. why can't these losers find a job and work like everyone else rather than STEAL from people??

Called cell.  Didn't recognize it so ignored it.  No message left.

They called me today but I make it a point to never give anyone especially over the phone, my personal info!  Thanks for the info I won't be calling them back!

Just called me and didnt leave a message. Was around 3 PM. Dont pick up, annoying.
