We have received calls from this number twice within the last week.
Both times the phone rang around 8:45 in the evening.
We never picked up the phone. Much too late for our household.

One person has mentioned that this is CA. Police Charity. This may be true because we
have received numeorus calls from this organization from many other phone numbers
associated with their fund raising. They are just terrible with phone harrasment.

Yes, this number calls, leaves no message.  Expect they want money and are rude.  Leave me a message and I might leave send you money, but they are shamed of what they do so they don't leave a message.

I'm getting calls from this number several times a week.  When I return the call per Caller ID, I get message that extension is not available and to leave a message.  BTW, my caller ID says the call is from Folsom, CA.

I got one last night, I think they are connected to political candidates.  I rec'd one from area code 916 the other morning..at 6:00 am....they must be robo calls because if really they are on PST time, it's just not cool to call that early in the a.m., unless family emerg., a pre-determined call, someone who works from home and is working with someone on the East Coast, where we know about a time difference.  we know no one in another country and even so, the call came from 916 area code, which to me, screams Sacramento (I know there are other towns and cities with 916, I'm just sayin')  So whichever political party is responsible for these really rude calls, just know, I will vote against you

Answered - Said California Police Youth Society. I told him sorry I can't and hung up. Didn't give him a chance.

Received on 11/5/2010 835pm Pacific time.  I do not know this number. did not leave any message

Just received a call from this number, and I was busy. When I went to check the message there was no message.
Never had one of these before, I owe no money to anyone, and my bank calls me on cell.  
Does anyone know why these came in.

Caller ID shows Folsom, a male claiming to be part of a Charity Fund for the "Sheriff Depatment" which one? , he sounded like a [***] drunk.  I asked him not to call again, and hung up. I called back and the number does not exist.

This called preceeded by a obnoxious RPM collection agency, that has made several attempts to stablish contact with me, using "spoof calls"  RPM will use bogus phones numbers, or even real company's caller ID displayed.

Several collection agencies, will try third parties, or "spoof call services" to locate or verify the existence of people, specially if you set a FAX machine to block computer generated calls.

I also got a phone call but no message from this number.

The caller ID just said CA caller.

Whatever...

I knew that this was likely phone solicitation so I asked to be put on a do not call list. The man started to get angry with me, accusung me of wasting his time. This is the most rude phone solicitation I have ever recieved. Tell them to put your name on a do not call list. They are required to do so by law. If they continue to call you, report them to the US government do not call registry.

Just received a call, sounded like a recording but I could be wrong. Said ,"Buenos tardes" and hung up on me when I didn't respond in spanish.

I received a call from this number a few minutes ago. I have family in the 916 area code, so I answered on the 2nd ring. A recording of a woman's voice said, "Please stay on the line while we try to connect you." I hung up.

Mine says Folsom too.

Got a call today and don't recognize the number or area, so I let it go

THE KIDS OUT OF THE STREET" I talk to the guy and mention that was a scam, and keep repeating
about the police, OK send something, so he say; $10 or $15, so finally, I mention used your time in
something else, not calling and this is a scam. end.
I call the Police, they don;t have such of program, and the person who I talk she did not care, the Police is not going to wast the time in this, so we have a figth in our hands to stop all the calls.
They want to get easy money, but from me ...... they not going to get a penny, I hope the people
get more aware of this type of situations. The voice sounds to me, they are from another country.

Live caller, "cops and kids" scam artist. Our local law enforcement says that they have nothing to do with these fund raising efforts and that they are in fact scams.

I missed the call and it went through to my voicemail - my outgoing message says "if you need to reach immediately, call my cell phone at blah blah blah"

I got a message that says, in a kinda creepy voice: "yeah, I'm about to"
