Yes i still have it, just post it yesterday night. Tires are in great condition, trailer itself is in great condition. Cosmetically i said is in fair shape since u may see some black faded areas in some places do to the sun. Lights on it are great, the driver side light works but its missing its orange little box thats covers the light bulb.

I'll be honest bro to you, I appreciate your interest in wanting to buy my dump trailer to your step dad but i dont have paypal nor im interested in getting it, i will only take cash. U mention too much info about urself which i find it weird for someone to do this based on my experiences of selling items in the pass, no one ever tends to mention their job title specially on the their first message. Here is a question from me to you now, why are u interest in buying my old used trailer? based on ur job title, you earn far enough to purchase a brand new dump trailer. Having an agent to pick it up for you, that sounds expensive to me. Thank you for your time and interet but ill pass on this one.

Nearly the same exact exchange as the post above. Selling a couch where I explain in detail on my listing why I'm selling and its condition.

"Thomas" contacts me barely a few hours later after I post to ask if i still have the "post ad" and asks about the condition. (Posted around midnight pacific time)

I get back to him next day stating I'm at work so I will be in touch with him later. I got a few other responses to my ad so I didnt want to let go of anyone just yet--turns out all those were scams too go figure.

He responds with the reported asking about condition and why im selling, buying for stepdad, engineer at eagle crest, on the east coast so he'll paypal me, and agent will pick it up, yadda yadda yadda

I look up eagle crest and here I am.

This guy just contacted me with the same lines.

I just received the same message from +1 (203) 684-6969.  Keep tracking this person and try to catch him.

This "Eagle Crest Mechanical Engineer " also tried to scam me. Thank God I googled it and instantly this forum popped up. Pretty much word for word I was texted the same thing. He is using this number now  (626) 594-7460. Thank your for posting.

I got this exact message from this Craigslist Scammer. Replied to my post with:

Craigslist, Kiiji, AutoTrader, Etc. Scam:

The scam works like this.  They think your item as described is perfect.  They might ask a few questions about it, and then will pay your asking price, sight unseen, because they are never around close by to come look at it (they use the stationed somewhere in the military a whole lot).  They will give you an extra $40 or $50 to old it for them.  Then they tell you they will send a cashier’s check or money order for that amount plus extra for the “shipper”.  They ask you to wire that extra money by untraceable means such as Western Union or Moneygram.  The check or money order turns out to be bogus and you end up out the money you sent plus the bank fees.  Also, if the check is big enough you may end up being charged criminally.  Take the check and the envelope it came in to the post office and have them forward it to the postal inspectors.
In the case of them using PayPal, the same thing happens.  They send a fake email looking like it came from PayPal, get you to pay the shipper, and then find out that the e mail was fake and no money is available.

Just got text about my boat.  He is now using the number 209 916-8406.  Same M.O.  Engineer, Father, Pay Pal, Ya Da Ya Da Ya Da.  This is why I hate Craigs List.

Same thing here. Selling my Toyota FJ Cruiser and a "eagle crest engineer" said the same thing word for word. The number he used is +1 (816) 368-4471

Now going by "Thomas" and is using 951-305-0679.  Strange that he would keep using the same verbage, almost word-for-word(Mechanical engineer with Eagle Crest "on the east coast," buying for his step-dad.  Tried googling Eagle Crest on the East Coast and this string came up. Strange.
