- JillI just got another one. I don't answer and they don't leave a mesage.
- DLRec'd automated call saying it was urgent. I hung up and called back hoping to find out the name of the company callig. Was immediately forwarded to automated voice saying that it was very important to hold on and someone would be with me shortly. I hung up. I will not answer or call this number back again. Hate callers that don't state their business up front.
It looks like others have had similar experiences with this number. - tcbomg! yes called saying I needed a attorney and all that. I just called the FBI on the the FCC department. Everyone call and check you credit too!
- JessicaThey call 2-3x a day. I never answer, it goes to voicemail and the message is always one second of background noise.
- mattwho are these people?
- Tom| 1 replyThis number showed on my caller Id. It is front for a collection agency. Bottom feeder calling about a debt that was written off 7 or 8 years ago during a bankruptcy. The call as convergent outsourcing and then hit you with the collection garbage. My credit score is over 700 now and shows no negatives. Went through a bad time but have worked hard to get back.

- Melinda LinsdauCalls come in every day. I think the person who previously had my phone number has collection agencies after them. I get calls all the time for them but this particular caller never leaves a clear message and if I do answer, I just hear a bunch a static.
- AndrewYes, I've been getting calls from this number too. As a previous caller stated, I had a bad debt 9 years ago, it has been written off and is off my credit, but they are still doing everything they can to collect. I've answered it and it says my full name 3 or 4 times and then says to press a certain number if it is me and I get put on hold. I've waited for a few minutes with no one ever picking up so I hang up.

- BCI just got a call that started with several seconds of silence, followed by a recording that informed me that the call may be recorded to ensure quality service; then a man asked for my legal name (which is different than the name I use socially and professionally). I asked the purpose for the call, and he said he was trying to reach <legal name>. I said, "That's not a very specific reason," and he said, with a very mild amount of hostility, "Well, that's the purpose of the call, sir." I said goodbye and hung up. A telemarketer or charity organization would have maintained more a friendly tone, so likely a collection call for a charged-off debt that's 15 to 20 years old - since I don't have anything newer than that.

- The NutBusterCollection Agency. Prolly a lowly employee trying to hit their numbers by the end of the month. Between Google Voice call blocking, iBlacklist call filtering, Call Control number reporting & carrier blocking numbers....I've evaded collection agencies successfully for over 7 years.
I have lots of bad debt, but I have perfect credit. Don't be afraid to avoid them (=- Caller: DONT CARE

Calling from 916-431-0752. They're 2 or 3 times removed from the original creditor. The debt their attempting to collect is more than 7 years, 6 months old. The charged off debt fell off my credit reports already. But they're still calling. Time to put a letter in the mail, contact the FTC, and pursue every legal remedy afforded to me in CA.- Caller: Convergent Outsourcing

- JoeCalled and left no message. What gets me about these types of trash collectors is, if they leave a message, and someone wants to pay, they will call back. Don't leave a message, and they'll be blocked by most.
