this number 1-916-478-6795 called me at 8:30 and asked if I was (stated my maiden name).  It was a female with no accent, sounded American. I said yes and asked if I was the same (maiden name) that lived at (former address).  I asked who I was talking to and she gave me the name Rochelle Gerard and that she just wanted to verify if I was the right person and again asked if I was (maiden name).  I told her no. She said "That is who I asked for the first time and you said yes." I told her it was the right first name but not the right last name (which is true since I am married) and that I do not know a Rochelle Gerard so goodbye and I hung up on her.  I do have one medical bill that is in collections but is only $170 bill and I have another debt that is several thousand but is about 8 years old.  Other than that, I have no debt, so...I am sure it must have been a collection agency of some sort by the tone she took and her low level of ethics, but...I do not plan on responding in the future.  Looks like I need to check into the "no call" thing again.

My wife received a call from this number yesterday.  A male with a foreign accent asked if he was talking with (gave her name) she said yes.  He asked again, she said yes.  He then began to rapidly spout off something that she could not understand.  His foreign accent and rapid speech was so distorted that it pissed off my wife, so she hung up.

He proceeded to call back FOUR TIMES, each time with his accent and horribly distorted/fast speech, until she finally told him that if he called back again, she was calling the BBB.

They did not call again.

Caller ID came up "Superlative Bis", and if he mentioned who he worked for, it could not be understood because of his accent and fast speech.

I recieved a call from this numerber and so I let it go to voice mail since I did not recognize the number. They proceeded to call my home three times back to back rather thank leaving a message! The third time a message was finally left. They were asking for one of my family members and wanted them to contact them at the number listed in our caller id. I found it very unprofessional that they would call back so many times before leaving a message!

Called MY WORK today... I told him I couldn't speak to him at work and he called back 3 more times!!!!!!!!!! I can't take these calls at work. AND, I just had my credit report and this debt has been sold time after time... it's over 6 years old and doesn't even show up on my report!

These idiots have been calling me for months now. They stopped for a long time and now are calling again. They have called my house in the middle of the night! Who do these crooks think they are?? The first time they called me they said I owed Bank of America $1100. I have never been in bad standing with Bank of America, so I knew it was false. I told the person on the phone that I knew I didn't owe that. They called me again and I told them that I went into BOA and they showed me proof that I could send them that I do NOT owe that and never have. Then they said that it was Wachovia Bank. I told them that I knew that they were frauds and that they were just trying to scam me. They continued to call, I have battled them numerous times on the phone trying to get them to leave me alone! Now they started calling saying it was for a different bank. A bank that I've never heard of that closed in 1990!! I wasn't even a teen yet! I told them, and they finally left me alone... for a while. Now they appear to be back at it again! Ugh! They even managed to get it onto my Credit Report. I am in the process of disputing it and I am planning on filing charges against them if they do not leave me alone! They are bottom feeders! If they call you do not answer. Report them to the BBB! I told them tonight that it is fake, that I know they are frauds, and that I have reported them and will be reporting them again!  The caller kept saying she didnt have the address on file, I told her because they are a scam! She said "My apologies" and hung up. I hope they do not bother me again!

This "Law Office" keeps calling me several times a day at work. Harrasing my coworkers. Ive tried speaking with one of there Reps " Marcella Giles" and she woudnt let me get a word in so I asked her not to contact me at work and hung up . They called my work back immediately, this time it was a Male. He told my supervisor "Tell ****** that he made a huge mistake, we are in California" and then hung up.  Dont know what he meant but sounds like a threat. Good luck there buddy!!!

This number calls my house about 6 times a day. When they leave a message it goes on so long that they don't get to a call back number.

This is a collection agency and if they are contacting you all more than once a day they are in violation of federal and state law.

One contact per day only.

Can't call you at work if your job says no personal calls at work.

My mother got a call from them, as they were looking for my wife. I happened to have been there and my mother handed me the phone. The woman lied to me about a few things, which is illegal for a bill collector to do.

I recieved a phone call at work from them this morning.  I asked the young man to "do not call my work" and confirmed my home phone number and advised them to call after 6pm.  My daughter came into my work this afternoon, she's studying online college courses at home, and said they have called 6 times so far today, and I'm still at work.  What do I need to say, ask, .....????

He called me, it was a mexican guy. What a jerk, when i said it wasnt the right name he was asking for he hung up on me. So i called him back and told him off. Said he was witb some insurance company. Pure loser.

They are calling and calling and stating that they are THE LAW OFFICE OF ANDREA SHEER.....

Rec'd a call from these people everyday for the last three days...they are asking for an individual that used to be an employee here.  I told them she had not worked here for over five years and to please remove this number from there call list.  The third time they called and was a little upset and again told them to stop calling here, she did not work here any longer.  He assured me they would remove the number and hung up.  Within seconds, they called again, very rude, asked if I was the individual they were calling for, stated that was it wasn't it...repeated that the individual he was trying to reach had not worked here for over 5 years...then he wanted the number to our human resources department, which I refused to give him, but did tell him that if he would leave his name and number I would be sure to have my boss call him back...he refused, threatening...told him I was just going to give the number to our attorney, which I will do in the morning...this place is ridiculous...how do they manage to not be in some type of legal prosecution for their activities...they are lucky I was at work and NOT the individual they were looking for...I would NOT have been so nice...people like this should fall off the face of the earth...

They called looking for my dead mom, actually, her business.  She died with a lot of debt so I wouldn't be surprised if they were hired to collect a legitimate debt.  But, they wouldn't tell me which account because I'm not her.  They wanted me to send in her death certificate so that they can talk to me.  I don't think I'm going to do that, since they won't even tell me which account it's regarding.  I spoke with Miss Chang, and she said she was with the Law Offices of Michael Sipes and gave me the address to send the death certificate.  That was yesterday.  They just called again, but when I answered, no one was there.  I called them back and the person who answered told me they were looking for my mom and said he'd transfer me to the right department, but that department didn't answer.  Even if this place is legit, it sure is unprofessional.

I got the craziest call today from the scam number 1-916-478-6795.  Some woman asked if this was my name and I said yes after that I could not understand a word she said.  I am hard of hearing and she had the craziest way of talking that I have ever heard.  I figured it was a scam as I have had those kind of calls before.  I just block the number.  I don't owe anyone anything and never had in my entire life owed any late charges or late bills.  So what she was talking about was probably just as well that I did not understand her.

Got a call from these folks but they added on some extra digits on their caller id (which is deceptive and illegal) so they appeared to be a Colorado cell phone calling. Fortunately Vonage passed them on the my call forward and they were pretty obviously not who their number implied. I asked to many pointed questions I guess as they hung up on me.

They call our firm and leave long voicemail messages for someone who does not work here, and they say that if we stay on the line we acknowledge being this person. Well two things. We won't be hiring that person. And, it is illegal to leave personal information about debt collection on voicemail. ANYONE can listen too it. You folks go get 'em. We'll be filing.
