Got a call this morning from one of these [***]. It came up on my phone as "CIV"  Upon look up it says they are "CF COMMUNICATIONS, LLC DBA TELEKENEX - CA"

Received multiple calls from this number. When I answered, the automated voice recording is inaudible when identifying the company that is calling. It then prompts you to input your pin or case number. They tell you of you don't have one, then input your social security number. Don't do it!!!! It is a scam!!! Beware!!!!

This number is an automated system to confirm an appointment with cal-works or cal-fresh. It called many times in the last several days so I finally picked it up; all it did was state my name and asked me to press 1 to confirm my appointment, and press 2 to talk to a live person to reschedule it... It did not ask for me to input any personal information. I asked my case worker about it, she said these systems will continue to call, until you confirm your appointment.

I got a text from these number about ad I put on Craig's  list they said they would like to get my blue noise pit. They said they was coming to get her dis morning after I told them how to get here they text back saying they couldn't pick her up no more. Sorry..

I got a call from this number at 8:30 AM. It left an automated voicemail saying press 1 if you are yourself press 2 if not. The there was  a 20 second pause and then told me to visit seeforyourself.com, which the site for Lasik laser eye surgery. I have perfect vision & have never had any interest in that.

The website is actually c4yourself.com and is a calfresh calworks (food stamps and medi cal) website.

I don't have any appointment, but I'm getting phone calls every day. What are they?

Considering no post has been made past 10-15, it's anyone's guess, much like replying to an old post that's likely to be unseen. Unless there's recent information provided, odds are unfavorable anyone knows. You'd have to provide further details as to what was said, if anything was for somebody to her an idea. The "appointment" is probably a way they'll use to at least get personal information from you. They will call claiming you have an appointment and you'll be tricked into giving up personal details, along with possibly insurance, for identity theft.
