Called this number back, it said something about a legal summons. If this was pivot they would have sent a letter.

This numbe called me 3 times one after another, when I Finally answered it said "wait to be transferred" What???

Got a call from this number regarding a legal notice, court summons. Is this a scam?!?!

Most likely it is.  Legal notices don't come through the phone. Or  e-mail.

I called back and it's a vm of the house of operation but nothing about where the call is from. Thanks !

It is a scam. They tried to say they were collecting for a bad check that I wrote. I do not even own a checkbook.

Just got a call from this number. Stated that before they shared personal information they wanted to confirm my name. They had my name right. Then they asked for confirmation of birthday and last four of SSN - WRONG INFO. I told them they were incorrect and then the lady had the stupidity to ask if there was "another" {name} in the house - like there would be two people with identical names in the same house? Seriously.

Asked questions about my address, and would only say his name was Micheal not what company he was from. Called back, was a voicemail about a court summons. Fake.

ID themselves as NCA.   Most likely National Credit Adjusters.

Long history of debt scamming on 800notes.  Threats, and that sort of thing.  Don't put up with their nonsense if they call you.  If they are alleging a debt, then tell them in no uncertain terms to send you a debt validation letter by US mail.  E-mail no good.  Otherwise ignore their calls and block them.  Remember, however,  that they call from a lot of different numbers.

I am constantly getting calls from the 916-668-4420 number claiming that I have been  summoned to court. Is this a scam?
