I get all sorts of unwanted calls from Oregon and Washingtin that I have not answered and do not intend too

Got one this morning.  Returned call to be removed from their list.
This is the same outfit that has called me with various names.  Same message to my response each time. "Press one to be placed on our permanent do not call list"  I have been pressing #1 until my index finger to sore.  Seems like a scam.  Have complained to the FCC.  We'll see what happens.  FCC replied.

Other websites list this number as spoofed.  Reverse phone lookup lists it coming from Queens NYC through the carrier New Cingular Wireless.  The FCC won't even open a ticket on a complaint until there is an overwhelming number of complaints.  I think carriers should join forces and have a complaint number we can call.  They can trace the last call that was placed to our number, just like the police do.  When the callers find out they are being routed out, they will move operations offshore.  Then the carriers in the U.S. can block the offshore carriers until they clean up their act.
